Love the videos, used to be in the chess club back in highschool but havent played in nearly 6 years, your channel inspired me to start playing again and im slowly climbing the ranks. Currently only at 800 elo but i can somewhat consistently beat the 1200 bot. Hoping some day ill be able to play you and watch you tear apart my strategy
I hate when people play that kind of stupid openings (20:25) and they loosing but somehow they manage to checkmate you in last 3 seconds, when you have literally 8 minuses on the clock😂
I don't know how for others but for me GTE on live stream with live chat feels more alive as those extra jokes and punchlines you make while recording live are making this format more interesting + chat guesses are also interesting to see.
This is an excellent video, I think my favourite part of guess the elo is reacting to a game in real time. It doesn't need to be live, though roasting chat is wonderful.

His famous spaghetti sauce recipe is severely lacking, he keeps out a bowl of those red/white mint candy things instead of wurthers, and he NEVER acknowledges how much I've grown. From his name I assume he is brazillian and he is the portuguese language community manager. Yes there is a beef between PT-PT and PT-BR for this specific reason. Since there are a lot more brazilians than any other portuguese speakers pretty much every portuguese localisation is in PT-BR, which one might argue is INCORRECT portuguese (#notbiased). It's a bit like the english and "american" except the portuguese have barely any international representation so most companies don't bother to make us happy. 😢

Brazilians have been summoned so I'll clarify: Yes, there is beef between Brazilian Portuguese and "Portuguese Portuguese". Our accents are just much cooler, Portugal uses our curse words for everyday items which is hilarious and all the internet uses our flah to reference the Portuguese language. At the end of the day they colonized us, but we win.

Yeah, it's frustrating for me as a Canadian with a European Portuguese background to not have access to apps like duolongo or babbel to try and learn my language because they dont teach it. They only teach Brazilian Portuguese

When I first started playing chess, the Spanish was the first opening I was taught, so I just always played it.
