I absolutely adore the Citroen Xantia at 0:11. I don't know if it's an omage to its 30 year anniversary or whatever the context is, but I love the fact that they put that beauty in there. Even if only for mere seconds, I would never overlook a Xantia
I think they put in a Xantia like any other classic car, if it would have been a tribute it would have been an Opel. The logos have been removed. But I'm told the same

Great ad, but manufacturers still don't seem to understand that there's no point in targeting young people because they don't buy new cars. Renault completely failed on this point 30 years ago with the Twingo. The car sold well, but as a second home car, absolutely not among young people.
Thanks for your feedback! We think the Corsa Electric is perfect for first time drivers - it combines great design, and advanced technology which is normally available in higher vehicle classes. Plus, it's fully electric, of Corsa!
I'm 47 and I still don't buy new cars because with the way depreciation works, buying a new car as a private owner ist just stupid. I'd love an EV, in fact it would be perfect for my driving needs, but with the second hand EV market being what it is (i.e. non existant), its internal combustion for me for now.

If you calculate what a car costs according to the only relevant criterion, namely the price per km, counting absolutely everything: depreciation, consumption, maintenance, repair, insurance, tolls, etc. You will realize that what costs the most and by far is depreciation. Conclusion: An economical car is a reliable used car. Its energy is very secondary.
