And now try to let Procreate create a b/w color palette from this b/w picture. Which makes sense e.g. for portraits to get a few main shades out of a photo. Unfortunately Procreate pulls only 2-3 very dark shades of the picture and leaves the rest out. Frustrating.

it did not work. the yellow was completely unchanged, and so were other brights.

I think this only works if you have one layer, how do you doit for multiple layers at once?
You could duplicate the canvas, and merge all the layers first?
