I love this plane! It does take some getting used to to get that sniper gun to hit. If you dont fly it for a long time and try to shoot from long range you miss most of the time. Fly it alot and get used to aiming it and you can be deadly with it!
Question: I just picked up the C-6 pilot in a crate, he’s a +5 point pilot, but the premium pilot I currently use in the C-6 is +7. If I retrain him to 100 on a tech tree aircraft, do I still get the +5 to use when he’s back to 100% ? (I don’t want to risk losing the +5 if he doesn’t!)
Great question, the pilot will retain his points even after retraining him. His points may not work all the way until he's 100% for the new plane but the points don't disappear!
I feel bad when I fly this thing. The 30 just makes planes disappear, AND there's MGs, so if you miss all the big shots, you still have the potential to burn.
Something has to balance that 30mm out, although the terrible maneuverability doesn't really balance the gun. And thanks, I had a lot of fun on EU today 😃
I can't remember, is it here we post requests ? muahahahh - only ask as I'm presently on the XP-72, having got through the painful grind that is the Thunderbolts. I've found a way that sort of works with this plane, however if there's more than 4 or 5 players on each side then I'm in for a real rough ride, especially if it's a tier 9 battle. Looking back at your videos I don't think you've covered it before so intrigued on how you would play it. :)
When you fully upgrade this plane, you'll find it underwhelming. It's fast, it's got altitude, and bombs and rockets. That's about it. I skipped out of it pretty quickly as the reload of the bombs and rockets is too long for a plane that can't shoot soft ground targets in a single pass.
I'm not sure I posted a vid on this one, when I first went down this line I didn't do very well on it. I definitely wa t to but them back. I think I would focus on speed as they have decent speed compared to other MRFs. And the great ground armament
@@PostalMonkey From what I can tell it's two advantages are dive speed and health, however the latter counts for little as even defence aircraft and most heavies can sit on your six, and the former you lose if you carry bombs and rockets, without which you can escape but then can do little damage. Some people say the guns are good, but at tier 8 they lack the punch they had at tier 7 and taking down a heavy is slow work with the MGs even over-heating before you complete. Tier 9 bombers (and some tier 8) are a near death sentence. It's a plane for masochists or those who really like a challenge :D
Ok I have one for you.. How about the I180-3! Its a great little obscure premium fighter plane! Only machine guns again yes, not the best firepower but it turns great and does what it does well! If you dont have it dont buy it on my acount lol! Maybe the Venom as another to try! I like the oddballs but seem to do really well in both of these planes! I know they are not your normal flying style though!
Is the I180-3 the one that's readily available for gold in the tech tree? If so I actually bought it a little while ago, just haven't played it. I have the venom, I think I like it but it's been forever since I played it lol
Yes. The I180-3 is in the tech tree. It's a bit of an odd duck but very much like the I16-29 but more guns and no bombs or rockets..and it's faster flies higher and turns better! The venom has 8 303s and can get turn times that rival the Zeros..

Yep, lovely plane, fun to play...
I have a love hate relationship with this plane. It's either an amazing game, or i miss every shot.

@@PostalMonkey thanks for that Postal 👍🏼 time to clear out the barracks! 🤣
Glad to help

Yup, clubbers delight
She got the maneuverability of a steamtrain. But at this Tier, one of my absolute favorites.
Nice seeing you on EU today.

It'd be nice to have the P47s viable

Yes, ok cool then I have both! I'll add to the list
You took a heavy fighter with one shot wow.
That's C-6 life 😎 if you can hit, you'll change games
Jesus doesn't have anything to do with it. Sigh...blasphemy is not cool. :(
