That was awesome Pastor, Thank you for sharing! I love the idea of cutting some of the sound and jumping on directly to the online viewers! Bendiciónes!!!
Thank you for sharing, all very well explained and extremely helpful, nice to hear I can use my iPad instead my iPhone.

Really helpful! Thanks for putting this together. Could you do one showing how to set up a mixing board?

Hey Josue, thanks for the tips man... I just got a Mevo plus so I'll have a play around with the audio setup based on your recommendations.
Glad I could help!
Good evening and thank you for the tutorial mevo. I have a question: did you film a TV screen with the mevo and what is the result? Fuzzy? the image and sharp? are there scans? thank you
Thanks Josue! I want to buy a MEVO because the video features are amazing!! What it can do is mind blowing in such a small package, it's a full video studio in one tiny camera BUT the audio is just awful!! You would think the Livestream folks would have all kinds of solutions and videos on the subject but none can be found... I thought for recording live bands the best way would be to take a live feed right from the mixing board, no info on if or how you can do it... so I can see you have "rigged" a fix! MEVO is really missing the boat, they should have a "audio upgrade package" to hook it all up correctly to get the best result... With folks like you finding a way I think we can get this working... Thanks again!
Excelent tips to use external Micro...
Thank you bro this was very helpful. God bless you.
You are very welcome
Good stuff my brother
Thanks for the visit
I plan to buy one Mevo using external audio source... The thing is that any digital interface put a latency (mine is around 4 ms)!!! So sound and picture won't be in sync for live streaming. Is there any way to delay the video to get it in sync with sound while streaming live? Also is it possible to re-edit the video mouvement after the shot done? Thank you.
very nice. thanks!
very good information. I am using it today for the church service. We have been livestreaming but with one camera.
I did subscribe.
Thank you, I hope it works out for you. Thanks for subscribing!

I want to buy the mevo for our church. Do you know of a way other than the lapel microphone to increase the sound quality and clarity? We go from the anthem to concerns and to sermons and it’s just not1 person, so I’m not sure the lapel mic is appropriate. Suggestions please.
Hello sir, I just can’t seem to
Get my Mevo audio correct. I ruin an episode of our show today because of audio issues. Can you help me?
doesn't the iPhone have a mono vs stereo or is that just for the output
how do you handle the audio sync. won't it be out of sync.
Hi I saw you have an ipod which one you using. I'm confused
I will do a test with a mixing board and post the link.
thank you
You're welcome
Question, when you go to "iPhone" will that also copy across to the SD card, or only on the video that is being recorded through the app on to your device?
John Ronaldo Brans yes, whatever choice you make on the audio input will also switch on the SD card and then you can import that to your computer for anything later. As a matter of fact when I make videos that I am in, I use the microphone that I plug into my iPhone for audio so no matter what distance I am from the camera it will pick up the audio on the lapel mic.
Can I play a playlist from the Ipad that would go during the livestream? If I can how do I do that?
+Rolando Ortiz I have never done that however if you have another iPhone or iPad playing music on a mixer that is bringing in your sound sources then you would be able to do it that way but not from the actual iTunes or Spotify on the iPad
But that means I still need the trrs cable right?
what happen with the image? the camera needs a lot of lights?
What model ipad?
Can you the cable directly into the camera instead of the iPad?
carl clark no, this model doesn’t have an audio input. You have to do it through a device.
Wonderful. Is this video shot by a mevo? Why does it look a little ovalj
If I’m recording from the church mixer and I plug the IRig directly to the Mevo how can I change the settings in the app to get the audio from it? Because is not working for me
You have to go to the microphone ICON on the app and select your phone to be the audio input, then you connect the iRig to it so you can get the audio to the mevo. I did it all through the pandemic. It should work.
@@josuepadilla2576 the thing is I have the three mevos

I don't have an iPhone I have android can I still be able tu use it?
No. It only works with iphones and ipads.
Maybe you can answer this...
I have tried several different TRRS adapters. They all do the same thing. Audio comes in pulses, but won't completely work. We have the mix coming off one of the outputs on our behringer X-32 board and into the ipad. I tried three different adapters, they all do the same thing, and we finally got it to work with the Tascam iXZ powered adapter. The only problem we've had is the adapter crackles constantly.
We tried on two different ipads, tried muting the earphones, tried a lot of different things. We even setup ethernet into the ipad via the USB 3.0 to camera powered adapter, and the apple audio adapter. The feed still crackles. I'm about to pull my hair out, as every sunday we're having audio issues on our FB feed.
I'm now considering the cablejive XLR to TRRS, but frankly I'm getting tired of buying adapter after adapter and every adapter failing. I just want something that works. What do you suggest?
+Shaggy White we run an x32 also and have not had issues. I am using a sub mix withe female XLR to 3.5 cable. I'll ask our sound guy how he i.e. Running the mix.
Josue Padilla that would be awesome. We're going crazy with all the audio issues. We tried a couple trrs splitters from Amazon. We looked up the sanctioned list on Mevo's support forum, and tried the rockit splitter and now the expensive tascam adapter. We'd love to just use a cheap cord or adapter, but so far only the $40+ tascam has worked for us. I'm going to spend a few hours on it this Wednesday. So I'll keep my fingers crossed. Maybe our camera needs to be prayed over...
+Shaggy White are you separating the audio source frank m the trrs? That means are you splitting the earphone jack from the mic jack? I am using the xlr to 1/8 inch adapter from the xlr on the x32 to the splitter adapter on the iPad.
Can I pan the mevo down I do wreaths and want people to see what I am doing in the table at closer angle
Lillian Rans Yes, you can. As long as you set the camera far enough to get the whole area of work (about 6-10 ft). Then you can zoom and set the desired are at the touch of the screen.
@@josuepadilla2576 thank you
Why is the picture hazy?
Thanks for the effort, but my real interest is in taking a feed from a mixing board, which you did not get to prove. The levels from a board are different from a microphone, and if I'm right, plugging the outputs into that basic cable will result in crushed audio.
OK, Sorry I wasn't much help. I hope you find your answer. Try the MEVO website, they have videos up there.

We needed a way to get a stereo audio feed from our sound board into an iPad for streaming. You can't get a stereo input into your iPad because that TRRS jack isn't made for it. After some experimentation, we found that the Saramonic SmartRig+Di (with Lightning Connector for iOS) - 2-Ch XLR/3.5mm Microphone Audio Mixer (Phantom Power Preamp, Guitar Interface) does the job. It has two preamps with connectors that accept XLR and 1/4 inch TS plugs. We're now getting a good stereo feed from all of our audio sources into the live stream using this device and the lightning port on an iPad. You have to be sure to move the switch next to the inputs from mono to stereo. It works great. We run a pair of aux 1/4 inch sends from our Behringer into the Saramonic for left and right.

At the time of creating this video, the SARAMONIC was no available. In my new video update I do provide another option using the iRig setup.
Unity of Chattanooga Thank you for your comment and offering that option.

is there an app for Android?
No. Only iPhone and iPad
The video you took using the Mevo looks like there was grease on the lens. Not clear or sharp looking.
my mevo does that too

Help
I'm a Quadriplegic I want to use multiple external audio sources like using 4 wireless Movo lavalier microphones, as I would like to hold panel discussions with fellow disabled people, I need a simple system that once setup will run on its own and record to my Macbook or iPad and stream live, I want the camera to pick up everyone's audio and point the camera to the correct person
Does anyone know of affordable software that will allow me the stream live to multiple sites like Facebook and RUclips
please help me
Paul
+Paul Anthony you would have to connect the Mics to a mixing board and then get the signal out from the board and put it into the iPhone or iPad to mix the different multiple sound sources.
+Paul Anthony you would have to connect all your four microphones into a mixer and then take the signal out from the mixer into the input on the iPhone or iPad to be able to mix your audio sources
And if you use gates on the microphones then you can set it up to mute those which aren't being used at that moment

Cost efficient
Do you actually use this in a church? If so I'd like to chat more about how it works out and what it looks like. Email me perhaps or what's the website of the church.... Please please please. I'm a church tech in need of help lol
By the way our church is COG as well lol

Gosh, that lavalier sounds horrible...
mevo mic sounds better :)
You never show to the inquisitive mind, how to make the connection from the audio source into the iPhone's mic input.. I'm a retired electrical engineer and in my tests, all you need to do is connect the MONO audio out from the source (a wireless receiver for the lapel mics used for an interview - perfect example) - - - view the image I composed below.
