Hi Mike thanks for the video, watched your fetching of data from mongo and azure storage blob ..that was great.. actually I have created two separate spring boot projects for the above and that has to be run in cucumber framework...is it possible

Hey Mike thanks for this video it was really helpful. Could you please let me know how to pass tags in run time using maven command as i am not able to do that. I am able to specify it in runner file and do but i want to do that same operation in run time
se maven profiles + set includes / excludes to include tests with certain tags. I'll make vid about that soon.

I had to add legacy junit engine plus surefire plugin and then I can choose to run as integration test. Vid is scheduled for Thursday. Code is ready now. github.com/ekim197711/springboot-cucumber

I am currently refactoring all the microservices, I'll find some time to make a demo video and link it into the readme file. Me and my friends play CSGO every Monday evening if you want you can join the come so you can even see in real time what these microservices are doing

does cucumber run via jdk17? I thought jdk 17 does not get along cucumber...
I have never thought about the version when running cucumber. It just adds the behaviour driven development language and executes the code in the stepdefs.
What are the benefits to use SpringBoot instead of spring in a standalon test automation framework?
Spring Boot gives you the Spring Framework where you can add the needed modules like webserver, database access etc.

I just wonder what extra you get adding the whole SB framework instead of plain Spring.
You always add Spring Boot. Because Spring Boot will help you keep track of dependencies of all the "shelve"-modules you add.
