I think every live version no matter where she does this is awesome I just wish they would tone down the instruments lower the volume of the instruments just a little bit because her voice is phenomenal and needs to be heard. JMO.
The sound that night at this venue (Merriweather) wasn't very good. And her normal back of the house sound person, Jerry, was out on maternity leave. She has amazing sound engineers (Jerry Streeter and Sean Quackenbush), this wasn't typical for sure.
