17,000 videos showing where the jack is… thanks guys! 😂 I can see it, I just can’t figure out how to get it back in… and why I have extra pieces 😂 Then this gem! Lifesaver broseph! Much thanks!!!
Thank you Sir! I appreciate you making this video. There's a part of me that wishes I hadn't been born in 1961 because then I wouldn't know how easy things used to be to work on before the engineers got a hold on them.
Couldn't agree more with previous comments on how clear and detailed your video is. And how counter intuitive the engineering in the placement and storage is(if you have not done before or watched the vid). BRILLIANT!!! Thanks for doing this and keep up the good work.
Thank you for making this video. My son-in-law removed mine to jack up another vehicle. He just threw it in the floorboard when he was done. You would’ve thought I was trying to work a Rubiks cube. Now I know how to put it back in without asking him lol
Ha that's funny. It is a little tricky. Please help me out by subscribing and watch other videos I have including a video rebuilding a wrecked silverado.
Like all the others here, I wouldn't have figured it out as i was rushing to get my spare changed and didn't pay attention to how it goes together. Thanks for your time and video.
I have a major recommendation for Chevy, how about some lighting under the seat with a switch when needed. Who else thinks its so dam dark you cannot see anything and if you don't have a light your hosed. Not sure why on earth they did not recognize that issue, if your out on road in dark no way your seeing anything. Great Vid, very clean and to the point!
This thing is worse than a rubix cube... Took it out and tried to put it back the next day... Been sitting Uninstalled for nearly 6 months now. Thank you so much for the video! 🍻
Damnit! Nice response, thanks I was wondering what the heck they were for too, couldn’t figure it out, was about to trash them seeing as they didn’t provide any use to the stowage, now I know better. 😅
Thanks for the video. I have a 21 Chevy Silverado 3500HD and have all rubber mats . Took everything out to scrub clean and could not figure out of the heck to put it back in !! 😂🤦🏽✌🏼Thanks again !
Thank you for your help. Worked for my 2016 GMC. Your video saved me time & stress. The GMC manual is very poorly written. None of this is the same as my last GMC.
It’s videos like these that make RUclips the community that it is I couldn’t figure out how to get my 2500 HD jack in this video helped it’s the exact same fit, Thanks for taking time to make this video
Thank you, had to take mine out on the Interstate in heavy traffic and had no idea how to put back, doesn't help that you can't hardly see the thing in my 2011 Silverado. GM does their best to keep this a secret - thanks for the video!
Damn you video is a miracle lol . My truck didnt come with a jack so I had to buy one from the dealer and I had no clue how to install it under the seat.
Good job. I had watched several others but they did not have the blocks. Your video is easy to understand. GM could use some improvement on the jack and spare storage system.
Thanks some people comment bad thing when people actually learn off the video. Do me a favor a hit the subscribe and like button, I'm trying to get my channel to grow.
Thanks for the video bud! Damn jack didn’t lift my truck high enough for the spare to fit on ‘18 silver-aydo. (Yes I put the jack in correct spot.)I used my dads jack from his express van.
Thank you very much for this video! It’s amazing how something so simple can be so difficult! You just saved me another hour of looking like an idiot in my driveway…. Lol
Bruh! Thanks so much! I’m not proud of it but I bought a tool bag just for the jack parts and stuffed it with packing material and been hauling it around for a year cause I was like fu@k it😐but now I need the space...you’re the man!💪🏽👍🏽🤘🏽🤑
The other videos show how to get the bars out on the drivers side. Guess they forgot about the jack. Hard to change a tire without the jack part. Good video thanks.

Going to have to ask what are those two Leaf things for or those metal brackets that are bent like an L?
