Highly underrated band ... a lot of the nineties bands pulled influences from the Pixies.

Kim Deal is not irreplaceable.
Perhaps her position in the pixies is replaceable. But Kim is an amazing artist who, as it stands now, is releasing better music (consistently) than pixies. Her position in the breeders is def irreplaceable
i feel like Frank really likes to hear himself talk
frank is a diva
maybe thats true but its an interview so someone requested to hear him talk. Its not like he's cutting anyone off...though he might be keeping Joe awake. Talking for under five minutes insn't that long. Plus the interviewer has been edited out of this video....the questions are written on the screen.
That's why he's the lyricist, loves words and likes to talk

a little aloof in a good way...it is an interview & the man wrote amazing songs & performs amazingly as well. I like his persona, he is not selling himself, boasting or preaching...he plays music bc it is fun
Literally the frontman of the band, and the interviews questions are directed to him. I didn't pick up the same vibe.
Without Kim there is no Pixies
