Good informative video but I am unsure why you did not slow down the actual installation at the 2:08 mark. You were going far too fast for us types who are not that handy.
Ran into this issues when installing mine. No room for the screws to go into with the 2.75 box. Do I need to get an electrician to replace the box? Not sure why the instructions show a box going in, but don’t provide one
This is correct. I had to find out the hard way. After I got the first screw in I was like where’s the other hole? I had to screw into the ceiling with a wall anchor. I was pissed off as this was my first time changing a light fixture
I just put mine in today. It looks nice enough. Minimalistic. Unobtrusive. But now I realize that I have to take the cover off in order to get any of those other features. I’m going to leave it the way it is because it’s doing the job. Not sure if I would’ve bought it again not because I need those other features but because I’m really annoyed that the design is so bad.
Thanks for the video, these LED lights look very nice. Bought 2 last year (April 2021, on sale), in June this year 2022 1 of them failed very disappointed. Not buying any more Artika LED light fixtures anymore, too much hassle to install and if fails uninstall (cannot change the LED light only). Taking it back to Costco (found the receipt) hopefully will get refund.
Just finished installing this and it looks so nice! Just one question: is there any way you can go from 3K to 4K/5K without opening the cover and change it manually? I thought it was tactile 😅
I think you should double check the connections to make sure it's not loose and each wires are spiced properly. If still humming, you should get a replacement 🍻
@Kevin Pon we checked but it's still buzzing. I love how it looks but the buzzing is constant when in use. I just didn't want to get a replacement only to find out it hums as well.
@KevinPon1 Well, that sucks. I got two, and they both flicker very very low, so low you have to be in a dark room, then after a couple of minutes it stops. Thanks for the reply.

Thank you for the video. I appreciate making a straight forward and short video that explains all info needed.
My pleasure 😁🍻
How bright does it make a room?
Current builder lights are very dim so bought this light to try. Will it really light up any room?
I would say it would light up a 11x11 room decently 🍻
1800 lumens. You can calculate how many you need depending of the room size and the type of room it is for.
Once it finally burns out, does the entire fixture need to be replaced or just one part of it?
Hello, yes. Once it burns out you will need to buy a new replacement 🍻
We cannot get the 2nd kitchen light to turn on. Is there an issue with a travel switch?
If the previous lights were working then you must recheck all the black and white wire splices. Sounds like the connection is not complete 🍻
I read that fixture requires 3.5” ceiling box instead of 2.75"! No adapter! is that correct?
Don't worry about that nonsense. There's enough room for all the wires 🍻

What if you cut the screws shorter?
This is correct. I had to find out the hard way. After I got the first screw in I was like where’s the other hole? I had to screw into the ceiling with a wall anchor. I was pissed off as this was my first time changing a light fixture
Even I ran into this issue today, how to fit this into a 2.75 or 3inch box?

I hope you can get your refund too! Should be no problem. 🍻
Bought one at costco 6 months ago and is now flickering crazy, where is my receipt !
Hope you find it!
@@michelbourgeois you don’t need a receipt at Costco. All prior purchases are linked to your membership card
We just got 4 of these lights and they were SO easy to install. Was easier to put these on than to take the old lights off. 😂
how do you turn it on and off ?
@@rareview3103 they are hard wired, so from the light switch. They work well with dimmer switches too.
Having troubles pairing when on wifi. Any idea.
I am sorry, I have not tried the wifi model.
can you get a darker shade or rattan shade even lowest setting is too bright for me
You will have to install a dimmer switch. Replace your regular switch out of 🍻

👍🏻 good to hear! 😂 sorry not this model. You have to do it manually lol. I believe they have another model that you could control by remote 🍻
Oh I need to remove cover to change returning mine 😢
Did it last long?
@TriggerHappy619 Mines still working good as new, thankfully 🍻
I know it says ceiling light but can I install it on a wall?
Absolutely! Yes you can!
How do you control the lights . Turn it on and off
This can only be done by a switch. This is not a smart light 🍻
Is it bright enough as a study room?
It's good for a 10'×10' room 🍻
@@KevinPon. thank you I have put it in 3 of my rooms and the white light is nice
how do you turn it on and off ?
It is controlled by a light switch 🍻
CAN THIS BE USED OUTSIDE ???
It's not come with sealing, therfore not rated for outside 🍻
Bought this and istalled it. It's beautiful but it' humming. Has anyone else had an issue with it humming?

Why do they flicker?
If they flicker, that means the LED driver has gone bad 🍻
@KevinPon1 Well, that sucks. I got two, and they both flicker very very low, so low you have to be in a dark room, then after a couple of minutes it stops. Thanks for the reply.
Damn, that sucks! Hopefully you can exchange them 🍻
ohh thats looks nice, much light thats cool
cheers !!
😁😁🍻
Is the drive replaceble?
Yes, it's possible 🍻
Is this shower friendly? Damp rating?
There's no damp rating but as long you turn on your fan every time you shower. You should be fine. It's not like the room will be a steam room 🍻
That sounds like the hardware unboxed intro song!
Price?
I think $30 CAD. It was cheap 🍻
Thanks for sharing!
Not a big difference between 3000 & 4000 k !!!! but its a nice item, thanks for sharing !
Yup not that big of a difference
This is weird. I installed one and in a dark room it looks like a night light is in it when its off..wth?😂
Lol it's still on while it's turned off?
@@KevinPon. I took it down. It was the wiring. 🙄
Glad you figured it out!
those 1800 lumens dont look bright enough
It's good for a 10' x 10' area max 🍻
Yup.. no tutorial how to Pair with the phone!
Unfortunately this is not a smart LED light. You are looking at the wrong product. Thanks for watching 🍻
