One of the reasons I love this game is due to all the villains I actually came to care for. Very few were purely evil...Lloyd and Linus..that was emotional lmao. And Limstella? I thought she was so cool, so calm yet her final line revealed that she was starting to feel human emotions just as she died, so tragic. Such a good game...

I don't think the music really stuck with me until Ursula almost killed Marcus with her Bolting tome while I was trying to do a rescue mission to save Jaffar since his weapon was almost out of uses. He survived with 9HP!!! I still had to restart the chapter though since there was an onslaught of enemies afterwards which created his downfall. XD
One time when I was saving Jaffar, a shaman came up to Nino and took her down to 6 hp. The second one came and used flux on her. Bare in mind that when the first shaman attacked Nino, he had a hit rate of 81, and so did the second one. But when the second shaman attacked Nino...HE MISSED

I found the best way was to set a couple of paladins just outside her range, then finish her off the next turn, making her an easy target beyond Bolting's minimum range.

My Jaffar will be the first unit to use the Dews we get. Next, I'll promote Lloyd and I think only a tanky Green is missed by that team. Please IS make Linus as OP as Dorcas..
I upgraded both Lloyd and Ursula as soon as they came out due to being my favorite characters as enemies in Blazing Sword. Lloyd as a Distant mage counter and Ursula as a Blárblade user. Now that the weapon refinery is out, Jaffar can be useful to use as well. I feel like Dorcas should've just got the regular hand axe and save the Tomakawk for someone that actually had one as a weapon, like Linus. Hopeful he'll be very tanky with above average speed. He is a Hero after all.
It'd be really fun to fight the bosses with their respective S-Rank Weapons before they were revived as morphs in the final chapter. Kenneth with Luce for example would be terrifying to fight because of it's high crit rate.

Man that level was agonizing playing with no savestates on gameboy. I think I never finished FE partly because I had to restart some of those levels one too many times.
Cons: Murdered my turn rating, wasted experience on what many would consider a subpar unit, played in such an inefficient way that literally anything else would be preferable; Pros: I watched Nino get her revenge. Totally worth it.

Then, after 15 seconds later... Overleveled Nino kills Sonia, with a critical hit!
You know, despite how he's supposed to be a decent guy even though he works for Sonia, Lloyd was....kind of a jerk in his boss fights....Hector mode especially. I almost had a heart attack when I thought that an ordinary myrmidon ran up to Lowen (or was it Isadora? I just know it was a Paladin and those are the two I typically use) and then this theme suddenly started playing. Not to mention the time I had a bunch of units in front of him, then he whipped around, crossed the bridges, snuck behind us, and killed Rath right after I got his A support with Lyn (yes, I ship Lyn with a guy who's not Hector, please don't sue (pun maybe intended) me) when he could've gone after Legault, who was at half health and didn't have a lot of defense and was literally right next to him, so that was REALLY mean of him. Of course, I didn't want the Speedy Grape to die, either (he's my favorite Thief class representative in the game), I'm just shocked that he went after a slightly tankier unit with full health instead of finishing off a frail and weakened unit (that speed, though. Probably could've dodged his attacks and avoid getting killed if the ballista didn't hit him).
Xiruslol It probably does, and, though my memory is a bit fuzzy, I think he did two-hit KO him, with the second hit being a critical. Not to mention that this is Lloyd we're talking about: if he's close-range attacking you and you don't have a high luck and/or speed stat, he WILL crit you.
Odd. I always thought the A.I. goes after your weaker dudes. ...unless your Rath was wielding a bow at the time. The A.I. prioritizes attacking a unit who can't fight back for some reason .
Taurmega He was, but I guess it's a lose-lose situation. If you've got a bow, he's going to close-range you, if you've got a sword, he's just going to stand from a distance and smack you with magic (and since Rath doesn't have the best Resistance and is more centered around Speed and Defense in the defensive department....yeah, I should've just had him and Lyn far out of Lloyd's range in the first place). Several attempts later, I eventually decided to fight fire with fire and have Priscilla and Lucius deal a good chunk of damage from afar while having a newly-upgraded Guy seal the deal once Lloyd's HP was low enough. (with a crit nonetheless if I recall correctly) (Pfft, seeing as Guy and Priscilla are usually the first duo to get an A support in my playthroughs, Lloyd was defeated by the power of love. Well, he beat it the first time, but I guess the power of love is stronger the longer the two have been together as a couple. XP)
AsterOrca Heh. Reminds me of that time in FE8... I had Joshua and Natasha reach their A-Support (gives Josh extra crit%) in the chapter where you fight Caellach. I liked it a whole lot, seeing as I pretty much knew it was gonna score a paired ending. Then I saw Joshua's dialogue with Caellach, and then him getting a crit from the Support Bonus, beating Caellach instantly... it was kinda beautiful, in a way. Probably my favourite mishap, outside of hilarious RNG things.

Man that level was agonizing playing with no savestates on gameboy. I think I never finished FE partly because I had to restart some of those levels one too many times.
Cons: Murdered my turn rating, wasted experience on what many would consider a subpar unit, played in such an inefficient way that literally anything else would be preferable;
Pros: I watched Nino get her revenge.

You know, despite how he's supposed to be a decent guy even though he works for Sonia, Lloyd was....kind of a jerk in his boss fights....Hector mode especially. I almost had a heart attack when I thought that an ordinary myrmidon ran up to Lowen (or was it Isadora? I just know it was a Paladin and those are the two I typically use) and then this theme suddenly started playing. Not to mention the time I had a bunch of units in front of him, then he whipped around, crossed the bridges, snuck behind us, and killed Rath right after I got his A support with Lyn (yes, I ship Lyn with a guy who's not Hector, please don't sue (pun maybe intended) me) when he could've gone after Legault, who was at half health and didn't have a lot of defense and was literally right next to him, so that was REALLY mean of him. Of course, I didn't want the Speedy Grape to die, either (he's my favorite Thief class representative in the game), I'm just shocked that he went after a slightly tankier unit with full health instead of finishing off a frail and weakened unit (that speed, though. Probably could've dodged his attacks and avoid getting killed if the ballista didn't hit him).
I have an answer for you in that the AI cheats! It knows when it is gonna crit, and will adjust accordingly

It probably does, and, though my memory is a bit fuzzy, I think he did two-hit KO him, with the second hit being a critical. Not to mention that this is Lloyd we're talking about: if he's close-range attacking you and you don't have a high luck and/or speed stat, he WILL crit you.
Odd. I always thought the A.I. goes after your weaker dudes.
...unless your Rath was wielding a bow at the time. The A.I. prioritizes attacking a unit who can't fight back for some reason .
Taurmega He was, but I guess it's a lose-lose situation. If you've got a bow, he's going to close-range you, if you've got a sword, he's just going to stand from a distance and smack you with magic (and since Rath doesn't have the best Resistance and is more centered around Speed and Defense in the defensive department....yeah, I should've just had him and Lyn far out of Lloyd's range in the first place).
Several attempts later, I eventually decided to fight fire with fire and have Priscilla and Lucius deal a good chunk of damage from afar while having a newly-upgraded Guy seal the deal once Lloyd's HP was low enough. (with a crit nonetheless if I recall correctly) (Pfft, seeing as Guy and Priscilla are usually the first duo to get an A support in my playthroughs, Lloyd was defeated by the power of love. Well, he beat it the first time, but I guess the power of love is stronger the longer the two have been together as a couple. XP)
AsterOrca Heh. Reminds me of that time in FE8... I had Joshua and Natasha reach their A-Support (gives Josh extra crit%) in the chapter where you fight Caellach.
I liked it a whole lot, seeing as I pretty much knew it was gonna score a paired ending.
Then I saw Joshua's dialogue with Caellach, and then him getting a crit from the Support Bonus, beating Caellach instantly... it was kinda beautiful, in a way.
Probably my favourite mishap, outside of hilarious RNG things.
