First of all I love his accent! Two, I’m doing a project on elements of Swiss healthcare (retired, children and unemployed). Amazing to see how organized they are and how the cantons work. One day I will go to Switzerland!
Great content, thanks! I was trying to understand the differences between contributing to 3a through a bank or an insurance company and this video solved all my doubts.
Hello. Great video. Thanks. You talk about the tax advantages at the time of contributing to your Pillar 3a, but do we have to pay tax when we access the funds at 65 years old? If so, what is the tax rate please? Thanks.
Hello Sonia. When withdrawing the funds, taxes are due at a reduced rate. The tariff depends on the amount, place of residence, marital status and religion. It is therefore advisable to open several 3rd pillar accounts, which you can then withdraw in stages (possible from 5 years before regular retirement), thus reducing the progressive tax rate.
1st pillar (AHV): 5,15%, 2nd pillar (Pensionfund): 7% - 18% depending on age and insurance plan, 3rd pillar: You decide how much you pay up to the maximum of CHF 6'826.-.
I was at a retirement seminar and the speaker spoke on how he quit his job after he made well over $950,000 PROFIT within 3months he invested $120,000. I just began investing and i will really appreciate any tips or helpful guide.
Tip; I’m a new investor as well and I use a broker Joanna Maliva Lee, she’s been guiding me with my investment since I began Late Dec and I’ve been able to accrue a profit of $426,000 with a principal of $85,000
@@stevenjackson9301 I think i may have actually come across Joanna somewhere talking about the stock market and she spoke so brilliantly, please how do i get to reach her?
@@stevenjackson9301 hey thanks for sharing, I just looked her up found her website and left a message, hope she replies soon. I really want to make some profit of this.

Can the contributions in the 3rd pillar be invested?
Yes, the money can be invested. Ask your bank or if they don't help you, contact me via email (gbc.business@bluewin.ch).
Thanks very helpful and clear
How much in % of your salary would go to Pension for all 3 pillars combined?
1st pillar (AHV): 5,15%, 2nd pillar (Pensionfund): 7% - 18% depending on age and insurance plan, 3rd pillar: You decide how much you pay up to the maximum of CHF 6'826.-.
