This was a nice video. I was dumb and I didn't ice for the first three or four days. I didn't know what was wrong and I thought just resting would work out. I'm 50 days of resting and it started feeling Improvement only about 10 days ago! I'm looking forward to getting my muscles back in order. Anybody who's watching this, take the cautionary tale of me not using ice and having an extended recovery time.
Icing will reduce swelling and reduce pain but it will not speed up the healing process according to this doctor. ruclips.net/video/zFBAxbovxVo/видео.html
Excellent video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Riddleagan Beating Sonorousness Remedy (do a search on google)? It is a smashing one off product for getting rid of your chronic knee pain without the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my buddy got amazing success with it.
About as incomplete as one could get: No mention of differential diagnoses, how to examine, treatment for the dysfunction aspects of the injury AND the pain from the injury. No mention of platelet-rich plasma injection or corticosteroid/local anesthetic treatment.
Like 4 years ago I twisted my knee playing basketball it twisted the wrong way my inner knee area scratched the ground that’s how far it twisted sideways I never went to the hospital it seem to be heeled but sometimes my foot drag when I walk and my knee feel unstable when I bend it sometimes
@@samadagoat7769 bro are u able to do sportic activities like running long distances and high jumb sprinting🙏🏻🙏🏻plz tell me brother and one more question on ur injury time are h able to fold up ur knee in proper way means are u able to fold ur complete leg
I injured my left leg knee while playing Cricket and moving my body sideways. It was very painful and couldn't walk at all. I went to see my doctor (on 3rd of the injury due to weekend) and he suggested further MRI. My MRI Results came back and I have following things in the report. Can someone please help me understand what it means as I am very confused. this is as it reads. There is a full-thickness tear of the anterior cruciate ligament. There is a prominent radial tear of the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus. Medial meniscus within normal limits in size, contour, and signal intensity without tear. There is a edema/bone bruise of the midportion of the lateral femoral condyle, posteriror lateral tibial plateau, and posteromedial tibial plateau, indicative of pivot shift and contrecoup injury. No evidence of fracture. No evidence of chondromalacia patellae. The posterior cruciate ligament is intact. Collateral ligaments are intact. Quadriceps and patellar tendons are intact. IMPRESSION: 1) Full-thickness tear of the anterior cruciate ligament 2) Prominent radial tear of the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus 3) Moderate-sized joint effusion. 4) No evidence of medial meniscal tear. MRI was taken roughly two weeks after the injury and its about 4th week right now. I am on the Knee brace which is helping a lot. First two days were weekend after the injury and I couldn't see the doctor till 3rd day, I was without a knee brace and the pain was like hell. I couldn't sleep at all those two days with so much unbearable pain. The main pain is in inner side of the leg right where MCL is and without brace even on 4th week I can't stay for 5 minutes. I feel sharp pain on the lower part of the MCL (Where you can normally feel the bone bump). I was 200% sure that I have MCL torn but my MRI suggests otherwise and I am all confused if there is no MCL tear why am I in so much pain on inner side of the knee joint. Can someone please explain? By the way I am scheduled for the ACL reconstruction in 10 days.
Thank you; this is a nice straightforward explanation of the topic, no hype, easy to listen to.
Awesome Surgeon! Thank you Dr Walker for a phenomenal surgical experience and your empathy and professionalism bedside manner!

Exactly what I wanted to know. Not more or less. Thanks, great vid👍🏾
when he says it will heal by it self. will it go back to full strength? does it connect back together if it is a grade 2
Thanks very much for this video, it's well presented and helpful for recovery

Thank you
very helpful. My son just got his MRI and it's a full tear. Surgery recommended. They said 6 months recovery though? You said 6 weeks?
usually 6 weeks to fully heal but to be back to normal with therapy and all it can take 6-8 months
