Sir small correction is needed , kolar gold mines in Karnataka was closed 2001 due to low production of gold . Only active gold field in Karnataka is Hutti gold mines in Raichur District. Gold deposit are also found in Muski, kapathagudda and Hasan area of Karnataka.
