Holy crap!! I just added an adapter and my car wouldn’t start. I unhooked the remote line from my fuse panel.. been that way for years. Didn’t know the adapter turned on the amp. I thought it was just using the same line to power itself up!! I pulled my fuse tap and the car started fine but I hadn’t noticed the amp still came on because I had the radio off troubleshooting it not starting.. lol. You are awesome dude thanks for the video!!
Only route the power wire like this if your car is garage kept or else you WILL get water through that passenger side grommet There is a little knob on the grommet that when cut provides the perfect route for the wire.
I was hoping there was a fuse under the hood as well but I see there isn't. Word of advise would definitely be to have the fuse close to the battery. I learned this a long time ago when I actually ended up having a car fire from a power wire. The wire got so hot from the amp draw that the power wire caught on fire and the fuse was in my trunk just like this. I've learned to only use OFC true gauge wire and I always use two fuses now. One by the battery and one by the amplifier so it's full all around protection if overheating occurs in the wire or whatever else can cause an electrical fire.
Why would you not piggyback a remote wire from the ignition? Lol. Depending on the ambient draw of the amp, that "little light" will indeed kill your battery.
Absolutely 🗑️. Where was it explained what needs to be done under the dash? Sticking your finger through a hole is exactly the right way to explain it.

You're the man S Perez!
Thanks for the video couldn't have made it any better! Been stuck for weeks trying to make my system work!
The remote wire off the LOC keeps that amp on at all times….isnt that gonna kill the battery ?

I didn’t know I could power the amp like that on the remote 😂😂😂😂 that’s what I get for not needing constructions
Wiring nightmare. That fuse belongs as close to battery as possible not near the rear of car. 🤯
eddieg20 yes sir , but we wanted like this
You WANT your shit to burn to the ground?

I learned a good firewall access point from watching your video but your wiring sure is real dodgy...
nice vid

Never do this the add on goes to the radio on turn on wires not to the amp
Need to carry a fire extinguisher if you follow this instructions
