This game has gone through so many revisions since I played it when I was young back in the early 1970s. The version I had used a larger plastic ball to make the little man jump. The new versions have eliminated the gears and the two ball system (a lever now flips the metal ball into the tub)
Thanks for this video, the game my grandson got for Christmas was different, made by Hasbro, but had no crank ....or rubber band ... nothing made any sense when building this .... appreciate you guys confirming this is not like the mouse trap game like you guys are playing
fyi you both noticed how the game makes you create your own demise. I recently discovered that this game was created in conjunction with mk ultra mind control. If you look at each item it has symbolic meaning for going into a trance and deeper levels of consciousness. The entire game is a set up that you do to yourself. it is all programming/ post hypnotic suggestions. Still, fun to build the Rube-Goldberg machine.
Back in my day, the mice were tiny and not standing and you had to have extra rubber bands in the box for when the trap inevitably broke the old one. Also, the ball almost always stopped on the staircase. Can't believe you would show off this new trash. Unsubscribing. Do Kerplunk next!
It was like you two were playing with literal pieces of my childhood memories. Thanks for posting this.

Thank you for your kind words! We’re happy to help you understand the game better. Enjoy playing with your grandson!
Green mouse is best mouse. Well played, gentlemen.
I love that you designed an unnecessary AI player and then lost to it. If that's not the essence of Mouse Trap, I don't know what is XD
He could publish an automa for it lol
You roll your dice, you move your mice, nobody gets hurt.
So glad I went back to learn the origin of Green Mouse!
Haha - I am glad you found it as well :)
Archnemisis origin story?
Not what I was expecting, but ok!
I appreciate that someone is will to cover these obscure German titles.
Thanks for the video. I recently bought the game, but it is revised. Y'all have the original. Good game!

Haha, :) thanks for watching!
Nice cheese sneak
David Cross and Eric Stoltz playing Mousetrap?!?! Count me in!
No one noticed that he took more cheese? Cough cheesing on camera. 😂
It's so strange that the pieces look the same as when I was a kid. The board itself changed color, I think.
The problem with A.I. characters is that they usually win the game.
...also Mr. Green killed Mr. Body in the kitchen with the knife.
looking forward to quackalope b roll of twister
Haha one day :P
