I also saw the video first on Fran Jurga's blog and just want to say THANK YOU so much for making this available to us all. This is incredibly enlightening to horse people!!! We usually only see little parts of this when one of our horses gets sliced open. Seeing how it all fits together really clarifies how and why we have a lame horse and solidifies the vet's prognosis. I hope you were very successful with the thesis!
Great animation. There is one serious omission though. You do not show the Impar Ligament of the Distal Sesamoid. Any chance you could add it? Otherwise a great way to learn the important ligaments and tendons of the leg. Thanks for putting it on the web. Gerard.
Excellent! This helped me understand all the words that I had to learn. I used it as a study guide. Are there any more similar computer generated illustrations of parts of the horse?
14 years later and this is still one of the best resources to learn this anatomy as a vet student! thank you!
