Sugarhighme Gaming the amount of times I’ve come across amazing artists that deserve recognition, introduced them to people and they don’t see or hear their quality. But then listen to rubbish on the radio... I give up now and just play it for myself to enjoy :)

My brother passed away a few days ago. He sent me this song not long ago and said it reminded him of me. I’ve been listening to this on repeat. I try to imagine which words struck that association and there’s a few lines, particularly: “To all the people that you love and all the people that you hate but will love you all the same because you’re beautiful.” We had a love/hate relationship (as most siblings do) but we always had each other’s back, no matter what. I don’t remember him ever calling me “beautiful” although he did call me stubborn and stupid which was his way of communicating the same message. I don’t know why I’m sharing this with all you random people out there. Maybe just to say, always tell the ones you love how beautiful you think they are, you might be shy to do it, I believe my brother was, but it’s a precious gift to hear. Taymour, I think you’re beautiful and sorry I never said it to you in person. It was always in my heart.
Im sorry for your loss. I lost my brother 6 months ago and he loved music so alota songs make me think of him, our memories and the person he was. Again, my deepest condolences. 💔 its a hard process to get through, grieving still and I know life will never be the same but I know I have to go on cuz he would want me to. Always here if you need a friend! Stay strong.

I have been too, probably bc I'm right this moment, goin thru a most surprising heartache, after kicking my very recent ex bf OUT of my house.
What can I say? you can fool yerself into believing a liars lies just so long, before even you gets sick and muthafkn tired to the back teeth, with the lies, betrayals, and unceremonious ways in which he persistently treats you, and ignores, I mean, almost virtually every single desire, need, or want that you ( meaning me) had, atm.
It fkn HURT, to know, in the very core of my being, that he was using me.
I allowed it.
Not a soul on this planet could have stopped me from allowing him to, and, know what?
I HAVE definitely learned a most INVALUABLE LESSON, as to loving another, verses letting yourself be loved;

maturity can make such a difference in a loving, caring relationship.

I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life. I’m 17, my family has disowned me which has led me to moving across the country to live with people I haven’t seen since I was 2. I’ve left everything I’ve ever known behind and finishing my senior year with strangers. I was an alcoholic for a long time. I just can’t seem to get out of bed after everything that’s happened. I relate to this song in so many ways, sadly. I wonder what it’s like to feel okay again. I miss the feeling of joy or happiness. I’m lost. I’m sorry strangers.

It's been exactly a year since i first heard of this masterpiece.
I may write a little too much, but i hadn’t told this to anyone in a long time and i need to get it of my chest, so you can skip it if you want. It’s just for me in a way.
Some part of me desperately wants to put this into words, but i won’t try too hard because it’s something like a psychedelic. You can’t explain it to someone that hasn’t felt or experienced the same thing; and maybe you shouldn’t even try to. On 23rd of march last year, someone i was talking too sent this to me encouraging me to listen to it as it was „not as dumb as the name of the band“.
That started something. A feeling maybe, but to me it was more. And i’m not even trying to sound pretentious, it genuinely made a huge difference in my life. Made me feel like there was destiny, like everything happened because it needed to. Like moments mattered.
It showed me that life can be beautiful for the first time ever; if i needed to put it all into a sentence.
We were from cities on the almost opposite sides of the country, and had a place (that also felt like it was not from around here, even tho it was a small ordinary city) where we met relatively often. Every time we would meet, the day would be immortalized by playing a new RKS song. I still remember all the dates and the feelings every song made me feel. And even if it seems like a year isn’t much, to me it is maybe too much.
A few days after i clicked on this exact link, not even the official RKS song, we met, and wrote the lyrics in an abandoned building which i went to see only one more time after that, and the other person did not at all.
That someone is gone now, and probably has no intentions of ever even communicating with me again. Anything other than that is a stretch. I still guilt myself for not doing enough for the person to stay. Still, i will go on. If that’s what i need to do i will, and i will look at these times with great melancholy and joy.
But i won’t forget them. I’ll not allow myself to. It was too special, and too different, and i don’t know or care what anyone else thinks. And to further push my belief that everything somehow matters and is meant to happen, my school is taking us to a university in the city we met, in a few days, on the exact day we met there for the first time last year.
It somehow, even if i didn’t anticipate it, made a full circle and it’s probably time to leave it all behind like a beautiful memory it is.
This song, and their every single other one, is beautiful. The name of the band also is and i wouldn’t have it any other way. I just want to say thank you. To someone. I don’t know who. But thank you from the heart.

The lyrics we wrote were „Say we'll get famous and we'll die with our names in every paper“, and i still remember how profoundly it hit me then. I truly believed we would. Everyone would know who we were, and we would be immortalized. I hoped i was not the only one of two of us who did.
And if i alone do, ill make sure this band does with me. This one i promise.

You want significance not immortality.. immortality is lonely, soul crushing if sustained long enough.. nobody ever wants to live forever they just want to live long enough to experience everyone and thing they can.. you were gifted someone not everyone got to know. Let it hurt and let it alter your trajectory in life. And when you're on you're last leg say "these people put me here!" Not because its dramatic but because it is the truth.

I relate to these lyrics
I portray this is a different way than most, in the song most people take it as him singing to someone he is currently with (and I'm pretty sure this is the correct meaning) but I see it in my mind as he is singing to someone he wants to love but they don't want him like that. So he makes up these dreams in his head about it all and that's why he talks about how he has baggage. (This is my way of seeing it to where I can relate more)
I view it more as a man who was once in love with someone special. They broke his heart and left him alone. Things are different now and the old lover is trying to come back into his life.
They're making the same old promises they used to, but he knows they wont make it out alive. He wants to run back to them but can't until they say they didn't mean that he means nothing to them. He wants them to say they love him like they used to because now its just not the same.
He gets angry knowing that hes being used. they'll vacation first class, he will break their her fall and she will break his ass.
The most powerful part of the song is when he switches from the realization that the old love they're putting forward is a facade, and he doesnt need them anymore.

I actually sat down and really listened to it. My brother has been struggling with alcoholism and drugs...mostly prescription at the end..most of his life. He's had a mental break down. Has been diagnosed schizophrenic. In the beginning I drank along with him and I feel bad for even condoning that years ago. He felt I turned my back on him because I won't condone it anymore...But I grew up and can tolerate my drinks. He cannot. Now he doesn't know my family. He chooses not to speak to us. He's in prison.. I know this is a love song but I think about the spiral I could have went down with him and overdosed..this song is so powerful thank you #rainbowkittensurprise and thanks for reading 🤧🙏

I found this song while I was in treatment. I always struggled with my mental health, which caused my parents resort to sending me to residential treatment. It was a difficult journey, but a staff there showed me this song to have on my mp3. I listen to it non stop. Something about this song Gabe me hope. Now one family roadtrip I listen to the same song as we are in the same song of the treatment center.

A friend of mine showed me this song like a month ago. I never get to see her as much as I used too due to her moving to a different city a few months ago. I was talking about "Its called; free fall" with her cause it was one of my favorite songs. She than started singing this song and I asked her what it was. She played it off her T.V.
I just remember sitting on her bed swaying to it and smiling so much.
My memory is horrible and I can't really remember many memory's spent with my friends. But everytime I listen to this song, I remember everything about that weekend I spent with her and a few other friends that I don't get to see that often. I miss them all and I don't think a single text, phone call, or letter doesn't fill that hole in my heart. This song is able to temporarily patch it up though

I don't think it has any moral. I think it's just about Hollywood marriage, and how they ultimately fail
I see it as a couple who has the American dream but still are falling out of love and trying to keep it together. I think they want to be together, especially the singer portraying his point of veiw. I would say the moral is it isnt always a happy ending even when you do things right.
