Based, I've noticed that ishin is slower than ishin kiwami, this games biggest flaw is that you can't knock down bosses by normal means like in og. Rgg really has been taking L's in the combat department after lost Judgment I hate to be that one individual it's frustrating but I try to find some in enjoyment in these last two recent games.
I think I can give Gaiden a pass since not only was it kinda rushed, but it was a fully original game and the story, characters and the side content absolutely carried it too. I think we'll have to wait and see how their newest brawler game is going to play like, cause LaD 8 is already a massive improvement from 7 judging by the demo and teasers.
@@gnerus1972 my gripe is the fact that it feels like you the player is limited gameplay wise sure, this game was released kinda rushed but, 6/k2 when you quickstep attack with bosses they react to the hits making it so you can quickstep behind and start clapping with backshots but here no... ironically goon fights react as I'm describing but not bosses it just feels like they actively went out of there way to remove kiryu's ground combat fundamentals from 6/k2 or maybe I'm just skill issue and can't adjust to this handicap.
@@KoZeru_ Yeah absolutely, you really don't have many ways to start a combo in Gaiden, but this is stuff that could be easily changed so it's not like the combat is shitty at the core. I mean mods make the game 100x better to play, so I think if the game was a normal, full release it could have been way better. They got the concept right but missed with the execution.
Literally all they had to do was add English text to the original but no, we needed laser beams, no wallbounds or backshots and needless recasting to appeal to people who've only played 0 and 7
@@stormysoup1083Exactly. They decided to make a remake of a PS4 game, instead of just remastering it. If they do insist on remaking it, why not use the DE? Instead, they just used UE4, which was horribly optimized. Stuttering, textures popping in and out, the game crashing etc.
Cause they were thinking on moving from de to unreal 5, so this Game was made to test It,also porting assests from the old engine to unreal i think its more easy that porting them to de
@@Alejandro-dl3kdit's too bad that Ishin ended up as there gunea pig since the game did not need an engine swap at all, it's still a fairly pretty game and more importantly, the game actually works properly on its original engine
@@stormysoup1083 Also they absolutely killed the modding scene, which could save the game, by switching the engine for no reason. UE4 modding is regarded AF and every modder already was experienced with Old/Dragon Engine.
Rare Ishin Kiwami backshots, it almost feels like the original version of Ishin
Pray that we got Ishin Remix one day
man I would be willing to pay for a mod that fully restores Lad:Ishin to OG Ishin
Wow you could almost convince me the remake was good all along with this video... almost.
first ishin video i see in 8 months
Thats the amount of time he spent doing this video, he Must really like ishin remake

@@gnerus1972funny thing about that is even when you start a combo without juggling the juggle armor activates anyway
@@DillionT wdym? That red aggro thing?
thank you for spitting fax even in adverse conditions
Accurate description. We can thank UE4 for that.
For 8 months tho, it's really crazy

ryuji when?
Imagine if RGG wasn't stupid and didn't fuck up the Remake

sick
Wasnt the unlistes months ago?
But why?
You'd be surprised at how many vids I have
unlisted
@@DillionTI am quite surprised with this information. But the question is: Why?
Idk tbh, sometimes I just leave them unlisted since I was too lazy to make a thumb or a clever title lmao
@@DillionT Understandable, have a nice day.
Where are the mods for this game?
There's a handful on Nexus Mods but the legit good mods (like the ones that semi-restore the OG Ishin combat) are in the Yakuza Modding Discord
