- Completing my build of the Aoshima 1/24 Toyota Hilux model kit. This was a really fun kit to build and as usual, I built it a bit different to what the instructions called for.
More videos coming and they will "end to end" builds of kits and I will take you through how I paint them...
Enjoy :)
Aoshima Hilux! I'm Japanese, and Aoshima is a Japanese brand, so it's a kit I often see in my home country. I've built it myself a few times. It's a good kit.😊
It has been one of my favourite kits to build! I love the aoshima kits. They are always very fun to assemble. I have never found them stressful.
This is such an iconic Aussie vehicle.
There sure were a lot of them getting around 😎
Very nice! ❤
Thank you! 😊
Nice work!❤❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Panel line is exactly made for the door jambs. I scribe them deeper before painting so I can use it after clear coat
Makes perfect sense. It would slide across the clearcoat smoothly too.
@@ChickpeaHobbies yes it sure does. Clear, polish and the panel line. If possible on a light coloured car I use it before base coat just to give a darker shade in the door jamb
Looks great. I just bought the one
Thanks mate! It was a really fun kit to build so I went and bought the other little trucks in the line up !
The "nibs" at the front have holes...the tilt bed bracket on the bed should push all the way in
Thanks for letting me know :)
Would you be kind enough to share the wheelbase?
Hi mate I will check it out it’s not at the house I’m at right now but I’ll come back to you :)
Hello.. may i know how long the wheelbase please?
What year is that pick up and we’re can I find it?
It is made by Aoshima they do a bunch of small trucks like this in varying config :) I am not sure exactly what year I would guess early 90s?
@@ChickpeaHobbiesthey may not have as many utes in America? I think they are slightly different in appearance to the pick up truck, aren’t they? Lower, for a start.
Great looking Aussie Ute!
