I don't want to try to deny the basic idea of cognitive bias, but to some extent it's been adopted as a vehicle for criticizing opinions we don't like. Anytime people encounter one, one trick that's been played is to find a new cognitive bias to slap on it. It's just such a nice friendly way of saying "you're totally wrong and need to adjust your thinking."
