Great to see you post another video. A favourite hostel video would be great! I'm also curious about any mental struggles post trail. Like is it hard to go back to regular life, work, a real bed. After months of simplicity I would think our lives of excess would be tough. The mental side is very interesting to me. 😊
So glad to hear you'll be continuing to post new content. Your videos are always interesting and informative, and the effort you put into them is much appreciated!🌿
Glad to see a new post from you! I finished up my 48 with Presidential Traverse starting at Madison. Of the whole trip, I think Jefferson was the toughest. Maybe because of all the false summits, or that I was still a little wiped from Adams. 😰 I'm finishing the last two days worth of the NET this weekend myself. Keep on trekkin'...
Gr8 to cu back and continuing your hiking journeys! Plus an added bonus of taking us along. The last push up Mt Katahdin effects everyone differently. Bet this hike brought back many memories Also wanted to thank you for your pre hike gear review and your mention of Zoleo.i just purchased mine and planning a shake down this December. Glad to see you back and re-integrating. Isn't it amazing how noisy the real world is
Yes! I noticed the “noise” every time I went into a town. Someone had the idea for me to do a video about mental recovery and reintegrating into normal life following the thru hike and I think that was a great suggestion.
Congratulations again Jenny for finishing your Hike! 🎉 I probably missed the greater portion of your Hike but hope to go back and watch them. I'm not sure who introduced you to us but maybe Captain Jack. Anyway I was wondering how shorter people managed the steep rocks when tall people were struggling. 😅 You are an excellent hiker and have great words of wisdom. I'm looking forward to following you. Happy Trails! 😊 🚶🏕 🍳 🔥 🙏 Oh yeah, I'm older and short. 😅 Those rocks would be really hard for me.
First, congratulations on completing your recent thu hike of the AT! Second, I did have an idea for a post video you could do. How about a reaction video to the movie "A Walk in the Woods" with Robert Redford and Nick Nolte. It would be interesting to see what moments you can sympathize with, and which ones were just WRONG or RIDICULOUS!
Jenny, excited to hear you're headed back to Scotland! So, my AT postmortem question for future videos: How much did your thru-hike performance vary from your plan/expectations, and why? Congratulations, again!
First, you're looking very fresh and freshly scrubbed in comparison to some of your trail videos. It may be that you're eating better food and it's showing in your skin tone? I'm not sure. You're very blessed to live in an area not far away from some very scenic hiking. I live in the flatlands of the Midwest (Indiana) and the closest really decent hiking is at least 2-3 hrs. away by car. Southern Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois all have some good hiking the closer you get to the Ohio river. The northern parts of these states were all scoured flat by the glaciers during the ice ages. It's good to see your post trail adjusting is going well. Hike on Jenny!
Hi Jenny, Good to see an update, you're making those mountains look easy now. But...but...but Why Scotland? Come south, swap the cold, lonely and rugged for the soft, warmish and picturesque...and bring Brian along. (No midges either).
So glad to hear you will be continuing to post videos! Look forward to watching more videos from you!
Glad you're going to be doing weekly videos it will be great to see you out on the trails again !
Love your videos, keep them coming!!
Congrats on 47of48🥾🥾🥾
Nice work! Love your content ideas. I look forward to post-AT content in the short term.

Congrats on #47. One away! I would love to return to Scotland as well. Special country.
I was so excited to see a video!! 😊 Glad you checked Mt. Jefferson off your list. Looking forward to continuing to follow along. 😊

I was just thinking about a session of your favorite freeze dried meals too. They are not all created equal

@@ChuckNute-i4b thanks! It’s funny you think I look better because I was just getting over being sick 🤧
@@HikingwithJenny You must have been feeling good enough to get back out hiking.
@@ChuckNute-i4b it felt good to get back out and get some fresh air and exercise!
Just finished the NET southbound, water is tough to find. Southern CT was like a desert.
I remember southern CT being very dry. I’ll carry extra when I go. Thanks for reminding me!
Thanks for the video - enjoyed it! Love your hat - who makes It?
