      Off the air on adult swim is the only thing I could think of. I dont watch tv, but off the air is on youtube, and i cant get enough

    I was in college when this show was on, and we never missed an episode! It was part of our late night study breaks and we'd drink beer & do other things while watching haha. Haven't seen many of these in 25 years! What memories! And I don't think we really appreciated the real genius of some of these, we just thought they were fun!

    My mom would let my younger sister and I watch this when I was 11 years old! It fed my creative soul and boggled my mind. Nearly 40 years old now and I still found myself thrown for a loop a few times during this video. Thanks for the upload!
    Just imagine if these creative people had had RUclips back then. It would have been insane.

    The Joe Normal shorts were kinda made by the same people who made the Life with Loopy cartoons on KaBlam(a kid friendly version of Liquid TV)a show on Nickelodeon,the sister network of MTV

    I am 47 years old and remember watching this as a freshman in high school in the early 90's. I remember there was a cartoon about a guy that had a lawnmower blade stuck in his head and he had this little alien looking sidekick. I can't find clips of that anywhere!

    Man… idk if it was because I was just THAT age or if it’s because those times and a lot of those people I experienced this stuff around are gone .. but watching this brings back memories of Saturday nights at my grandparents house I had my own room there and was ingesting all of the things that shaped me into who I became like tales from the crypt and headbangers ball , playing guitar and fantasizing about what it would be like when I was an adult … this brought back some killer memories 🤘😉

    I loved this show when I was a kid. It was back when MTV was MTV, when they actually showed music videos.
    Those were the best days ever, but now there just great memories.
    Why don't they make good shows like this anymore?

    I love Brad Dharma: Psychedelic Detective, it should have been made into an ongoing series

      Viacom happened they bought MTV. Honestly MTV hasn't been a music channel in years not since TRL went off the air.

    Does anyone remember a short series from MTV (1990/1991, I guess) about a weird family (not animation) watching TV in the living room? There is a bald guy as the father, a long red hair woman as the mother and others. I've been looking for this short for years....

    It’s amazing what you could get away with back in the 90’s. Watching the adult chaperone aggressively put his hand in and out of his pocket while the little kid is bent over in front of him at 16:23. Wild stuff.

    Thank you for this. My cable company took out all MTV content, since they no longer carry their channels (thanks to you, too, Viacom). Because of that, I can no longer even access liquidtelevision.com, since I have my internet access through Suddenlink. I'd get another ISP, but the others all suck worse.

      Back during 1985-1992, MTV was a powerhouse thanks to its stunning success as MTV Networks,Inc owner of Music Television and Nickelodeon. The networks ran both with absolute excellence. Liquid Television was developed in early 1991 to showcase different animation and NY State young film students.

    I loved the joe normal skits and the live action skits where the people used overly dramatic acting and costumes with the plastic or rubber hair pieces. I don’t remember what they were called though.
