I’m going to be honest, I know criticism can be rough, but I think the og version is better. This is still good, but the original version just captured a shadow island perfectly. The dramatic fast paced part going into the drop with Flasque and humbug was so good, and the whisp vocal was really good, even though it didn’t sound like whisp. If it did, it would have been perfect. This version feels kind of like a shell of that. It’s more sad and dreary, instead of intense and dramatic, which I just don’t think works as well. The one thing I will say is better is Pentumbra, who played out a lot more on this island unlike the og.

This is amazing! Though I do wish Grumpyres “shiga shiga la” stayed and Jellbilly played more like the previous version. Also Jelbilly and Sox feel a bit fast. The song overall kinda lost the dramatic feel and liked the ending in the previous version with Whisp and everyone else slowly stopping. And I know I’m listing a lot of negative things but really if V1 didn’t exist this would be a perfect song. But even with all the things I miss Pentumbra sounds frickin amazing! Like seriously in the old version Pentumbra didn’t even sound like Pentumbra that much but in this version I love it! The somewhat shakey voice adds to the scariness too. And uhh I don’t know what to add here as a conclusion.
