I’m very proud of you 😊when I was about your age I opened a shop for $1500. Yes $1500! I made 90% of the items . I had it for 10 years . Decided to close it was working 5 days a week, but I loved it. I was 35 when I started and had 3 young boys. I have still been crafting and selling I’m 71 and my husband is 70 and we do it together. We mostly furniture chalk painting and dabble crafts too! I love what we do, we call it our Florida money for 2 months a year. Good luck for your future business . You can do it ! I love my life more because I’m doing what I love!

Booth is doing okay. Sold 14 things in 2 weeks but they are all small things. Thinking of adding some medium sized furniture and smalls to the mix. How is yours going?

I am using a couple of coats of rustoleum clear in a matte finish to seal it. I got my IOD transfers from my local stockist so I don’t have to pay shipping. You can look up your zip code and it will tell you who your stockist is locally.

All you do in every video that I have watched is paint everything white and use IOD transfers which are not available for a lot of us. Either not available or too expensive for the "ordinary" person. The IOD people (sisters) are making a killing by overcharging for their product.

I’m afraid of color too but recently have seen projects that tone it down with white wax & they’re stunning!
The white wax is just what I need to take some color risks again! You should try it! The best part is you can shop your own home and update things.

I love the copper bucket you can put ice and drinks in it you would have to drill some holes in the bottom so the water could run out
I have used it for that for a party but didn’t drill the holes.

Paint the copper turquoise and a little bit of teal green maybe a little bit of red as well and get it to look like a patina look

Did you seal everything when you finished the transfer?
I don’t think I did, but probably should have. Anything that goes in my daughter’s room will get sealed for sure. Probably use a clear wax.
I do everything in my home black, white and grey, nothing else seems to fit for me😀
We have to just “own it” and go with what we think is cozy right?!?
