- Today we were in Newark NJ at the ribbon cutting of MOGE TEE. I must admit that this restaurant was not what we expected and caught us totally off guard. We had fried chicken, General Tso chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Shrimp, MOGE Tee, and more. Join us to see what we discovered at MOGE TEE Newark NJ.

Man that’s the same thing you said about the weekend restaurant on Springfield Avenue I went over there and bought some food the fried chicken, some shrimp and macaroni and cheese and some string beans. The only thing that was good was the fried shrimp. The macaroni and cheese was horrible and the string beans tasted nice. The chicken had no flavor and it wasn’t even chicken wings. It was wing flings.

Are there any black owned businesses in downtown Newark? Especially for a city predominantly black. I loved how black people always happy to support and advertise for everybody else and their communities are in shambles. Chicken and weaves always seem to work!!!!😂

"I don't eat that much sweet meat...anymore." Uhhhh. Ok, Matt. I LOVE General Tso's chicken so much that I judge an entire restaurant by the way it makes this dish. However, I rarely get it anymore. At most places, it's too cloyingly sweet like candied chicken, or too salty with soy and oyster sauces, or not spicy enough, or too bready with just a tiny morsel of chicken at the heart of a clump of fried batter. It's just not worth the calories or the hit to your health unless it's REALLY good. Unfortunately, it's rarely good.

We support other people’s food, but they don’t support ours, why is that?
