What was your favorite moment from the PBA Finals?
Not seeing EJ choke for a change
EJ nailing that strike in the 10th, to put the BOOM on Belmo
Definitely EJ coming up big with the double in the 10th!
Seeing the one hander, EJ Tackett win and beat the two hander.

I love watching Tackett and Belmo go against one another. Belmo beat him so many times in the finals, and now Tackett got his revenge.
I like their rivalry, if you can call it that since they are pretty friendly with each other. But they are both top of their styles and it’s fun to watch them compete so differently
Ej stepping up in the 10th and bowling 2 strikes in a row against the greatest bowler this world has ever seen is so huge. Idk if anyone in the world realizes how monumental this is for his career. The pressure he was under might be more pressure than he’s been in his entire career. Absolutely clutch of him. I dream of being in that position and coming out on top.

It was huge for him after he fell apart at the TOC this year. I was thinking "Belmo's winning another major from the bench" in that 10th frame, but he came through in the clutch.
As a 🇦🇺 and Belmo fan, full credit for standing up to immense pressure. Loved his dad doing the "Boom!" as well, it's those kinds of celebrations that make the PBA great.

This was a great final match, with two great bowlers. As a fan, you couldn't ask for anything more.

I was glad to see him finally beat Belmo in a major championship final (nothing against Belmo). I agree with you because Tackett is on another planet so far this year.
He tied Belmo for last year with 5 titles but it’s kinda strange to say he still might not have player of the year locked up. I don’t think Belmo can get it unless he goes god mode and defends players and wins tour finals and doubles again then he has a chance, but if Simonsen wins the players and another tournament, that’s 4 titles for him this season w 2 majors. Simonsen too hasn’t had a worst finish than 10th all season either (he hasn’t missed an event too) which 4 titles w that stat might beat 5
He has always been my favorite bowler. His style is so clean and as powerful as the 2 handers. No 1 handers are on his level in my opinion.

Happy to see EJ continue his incredible season this week. Also really liking Belmo being a little more vocal at times. Gives him a bit of an edge to his personality.

@@TheRagingRayn I know, its just that Belmo is usually such a stoic guy and for once it felt like his back was against the wall. He usually doesnt show emotion or celebrate until the job is completely done, but on the 2nd in the 10th he let it out. Love to see that, but I think it shows Belmo's still human.

I love watching these two guys bowl each other. Belmo was great (and he caught several breaks in the match), but Tackett is just out of his mind at GOAT-level so far this year. If he had won the two events he finished 2nd in earlier this year, that would be seven titles and three majors already this year. As it stands, it's five titles and two majors, but he is on another planet right now.
Belmo caught more than just a few breaks. Without those "lucky breaks", this could have been a blowout.

Make urethane illegal on first ball. Only used for spares. 2-handers are using this a crutch.

@@iceman5117 Most young players has been starting playing with two handed bowling. We have to keep a balance of styles to make the sport fun and interesting.

@@iceman5117Yes I do, I bowled in two youth tournaments recently and in both 70% of the kids were 2 handed.

His 7th frame had a score of 179. If he gets 8 pins, he would have 28 for his 8th and 18 for his 9th. Adding his 8 pin shot would bring him to 233 which is higher than his opponent’s max score which was 230.
Yelling BOOM for a late falling 4,5, 7 is cringe Belmo.

I bowl 2 handed because I damaged the ligaments and tendon in my wrist when I was young and can’t grip with my thumb. Everyone bowls different for different reasons.
