Im a fellow OP12 user (16+512) Im using it since last 7 months I haven't faced any issue in any department..... Camera performs excellent.... Software is buttery smooth... Display is excellent... Battery is excellent Fast charging is brilliant.... On daily basis i use IR blaster so this feature is helpful aswell I have played COD and it performs perfect.... Content consuming is also comfortable... And to mention it has brilliant speakers too... Alert slider is very handy Hardware is also huge... Overall this phone is a beast and a true flagship killer tbh.... Not to mention it is priced 70k which is almost half the price of flagship androids like s24ultra....so it gives great value for money..... If you would ask me i would definitely suggest you this OP12 without a doubt 💯.... Ps:- since OP12 uses BOE display so don't fear about green lines and stuff...it was a problem with Samsung amoled displays at that time....and I guess no other brand gives lifetime free screen replacement for there issues but OnePlus gives....
@@Neversettle0000 motherboard dead issue was with sd888 chip phones. Sd888 was from Qualcomm but samsung was contract manufacturer. And green line issues were also on screens sourced from Samsung by oneplus. Oneplus has now shifted to BOE screens.
I bought my OP12 right after the launch and have been using it since then, I haven't faced any issues so far....some minor bugs do appear and that too very rarely it should not be an issue for anyone, overall the phone is a beast in every aspect whether you consider the camera, display or the battery of this phone, OP have nailed it with this phn at the price point at which it comes.

I recently seen after July update a huges bugs on my device & i emailed on OnePlus such as battery drains, youtube video freeze, mails freeze , camara heating issues ) but after August update this bugs are fixed.... As a gamer when I played BGMI ..it run 90fps just for 30 min after that the device run 65-70 fps .. but there is a + point no asa such heating on my device...

There's a few issues with the widgets in this phone. Especially the Google widgets. The size of the widgets gets messed up from the bottom and cuts it a little. Been experiencing this since the time I got this phone in September. But other than that, absolute beast of a device. No lag with RUclips PIP mode either so I think that's just with your phone most probably! Appreciating the honesty in your video🙌🏻
I'm currently using the OnePlus 512/16 GB version. This phone has never given me a lag. The camea is simply outstanding and reliabe. Battery life is superb and 100W charging is such a life savor. The zoom is actually better than s24 since I did a side by side comparison. Overall, most underrated phone of the year.
In terms of Software experience and brand value Oneplus is much better and it's good for gaming also so IQOO has nothing special to offer it's all the same

Thank you very much for your detailed review I would like to add two points here 1) the Idle drain which you have experienced is 2%, but my experience is, the idle drain is around 8% overnight. I have reported to the service centre but they have replied saying it is normal. And because of its large idle drain the battery drains fast and the screen on time reduces, if you are a average phone user. 2) In the power saving mode when the battery goes below 20%, the screen of time reduces to 15 seconds. Since this is quite less, I have to change the settings back to 2 minutes. This is irritating as this has become a daily job. One Plus needs to manage this.
OnePlus 12 user here, black variant 512 GB! So far so good. I loovveeed the software experience, It's so snappy. However, I switched off "the software auto-update" btw, Scared of 'you-know-what'.🥶 But performance vice, Gaming vice, Music (both earphones and speaker) and content vice, Camera wise, THIS IS A BLOODY BEEAASSSTTT!!!! The QHD+ display is just ❤ man!! The haptics are sexy. I was facing the battery draining issue after the July update but with the new update it's completely fixed. I'd like to add, The light sensor of this phone SUCKKKSSSS big time!!!! This is the major area where they need to work.

using this beast from past 2 weeks . Better than 12r and screen to body ratio is better than any smartphone whether its iphone 16 pro max or s24+. Colours are very accurate and cameras are also good. Bought in big billion days. Animations on gt series are also next level.
Got the 16/512 version in July with bank offers and exchange around 48k. Absolute value for money.. As rightly said no scratches in the back panel and Camera is good, specially video is amazing..

Using OnePlus 12 for the last 6 months and I can confirm that I am facing network issue. Sometimes while using Wifi still remains connected but surfing gets stopped unless you reconnect or use mobile data. Also faced the PIP issue as mentioned. But despite these, I bought it for camera and flagship experience and I am happy using that. Only video quality feels a letdown in comparison with iPhones but overall a beast package...❤
Hello Sanchit, an OP12 user here. Currently, there are no issues with the phone except for the dynamic refresh rate option. On auto-switch, all apps are running at 60Hz, except for Settings. Also, for some reason, Instagram is running at 30Hz with auto-switch, and the app feels very jittery. All the issues are resolved when forcing it to a high refresh rate, but at the cost of battery life. Have you come across such issues?

Hyper OS is butter smooth till now and I am happy with it. The only thing that is not consistent is the software updates. It is still running in the July security patch.

So , your phones runs on July's security patch it might coz Xiaomi is planning to give some extra AI features on Android 15 .... Processor underclock nahi hai bas software throttle jaldi ho jata hai. Maine OnePlus 12 ka high performance mode enable kiya, uske baad battery app disable aur akhir main games app se un games ko remove kar diya. Ab mujhe BGMI main 85+ FPS constant mil rahe hai, CODM me frames drop hi nahi hote aur heavy games like Wuthering Waves bhi 58 FPS ki average pe chalte hai.
I didn't face black crush or wifi issue in my OnePlus 12, I am very happy with it. I still don't think there is any better option available at it's price point

tbh, ive tried all the phones except x100 pro, but yeah, for camera every phone should be good. Even s24 would be good i think s23 ultra would be better.
Yes i am also using oneplus 12 , so googd so far . No greenline issue and great camera . I ve played bgmi and codm for 4 hrs plus sessions still stable fps all the time . And the wifi problem sanchit mentioned, i ve also faced and its very frustrating 😅
This is my 3rd one plus phone. I am a big fan of oneplus since 2017, First I used oneplus 3T , then 6T & now using oneplus 12 since March 24, I haven't seen any issues in oneplus 12 , performance vise it is great phone, oneplus has done a tremendous improvement on camera department compared to Previous oneplus phone. Photos clicked in Potrait mode are awesome. Overall I think it is a great phone to buy in this prices segment..
I've been using the OnePlus 12 for the last 6 months and what a beast this thing is🔥 The updates have made the phone a lot better than it was at launch and I'm very satisfied with my experience but there current situation of OnePlus is a cause of great concern so let's keep our fingers crossed💔
Even after criticism and Failures i chose to update my years old OnePlus 6T to OnePlus 12 and i am happy with the overall device i just check the community for update related issues if any which were none till date so i will say it's a great buy!!!
As an one plus 12 user I can say this phone is really good but the only problem as of now is the optimisation of the 8gen 3 for gaming.... let's see if it goes off by time via updates... other than that like every phone have some minor bugs so does the op12 ... This phone is value for money...just keep in mind that you keep your phone cool during gaming, updating and charging by using fan or AC or table fans.

I've bought this OP12 literally 2 months back, i am big oneplus fan, been using the op 8 for 4.5 years so wanted to change that too, but all the green line issue and the motherboard dead issue, i did made up my mind for s24 but after all the reviews and considering that noone was facing the greenline issues i pulled the trigger on this, the battery is the major advantage on these phones, frankly if you have used op you cannot go to other phones, the battery backup and charging always pulls you back

The most accurate thing that you mentioned in this video - This is the best phone for someone wanting to move to the premium segment. It's the same case with me actually, I moved from iphone se to this, and I could never be happier! Also, want to show off a bit, I got this phone at 45K after exchange and offers. So, overall, this is proving to be more value for money to me anyways.
I am happy with the phone and in 3 months the only problem I have in camera is the sharpness in the front camera. It's like it makes the picture shaping look unrealistic and not as real in my opinion

My oneplus 12 is not even a month old and i have 1600 videos and phone is filled to 240/256gb. I can say it doesn't heat in normal room enviornment but it does heat when talking videos in bright sunlight, but the videos come out spectacular especially in dolby vision HDR, and it definitely hits the 4500nits mark in native device recorded video, never stops recording due to its excellent thermal management unlike iphone 15 and s24 series.

Using this same color phone 512gb memory and 16gb ram since last 2 months.. bought this after 1 month research... no lag/issue till date.. the only negative i feel is bit slippery and heavy phone.. overall excellent in this price range...
I personally like the OnePlus 12, but after using it for two months, I've noticed some frustrating issues. I'm experiencing significant idle battery drain of around 4-6%. Additionally, when I try to remove videos from the "Continue Watching" list on RUclips, the app hangs, which is quite irritating. I hope OnePlus addresses these issues soon.

Using the same coloured OP12 (12/256) for a couple of months now, when the phone was brand new (out of the box), used to get almost 10+ hrs of SOT everyday, the highest being 13h for me, used to charge it only once for 1.5-2 days which was kind of shocking for me as I've never seen such incredible battery performance from all the devices that I've used so far. After the updates, the SOT is so worse now, I hardly get 5.5-6h on medium usage, such worst updates from OP, don't understand what kind of android engineers OP has hired, but the whole situation feels like they are hands down 'the' worst bunch of android software engineers that any smartphone brand can have and 'NO' the Aug SW update hasn't changed/fixed anything, that's absolute BS to the core, the same sh** remains and continues... nothing has changed... the battery is as worse as it can be...

1) the Idle drain which you have experienced is 2%, but my experience is, the idle drain is around 8% overnight. I have reported to the service centre but they have replied saying it is normal. And because of its large idle drain the battery drains fast and the screen on time reduces, if you are a average phone user.
2) In the power saving mode when the battery goes below 20%, the screen of time reduces to 15 seconds. Since this is quite less, I have to change the settings back to 2 minutes. This is irritating as this has become a daily job. One Plus needs to manage this.

OnePlus 12 user here, black variant 512 GB! So far so good. I loovveeed the software experience, It's so snappy. However, I switched off "the software auto-update" btw, Scared of 'you-know-what'.🥶 But performance vice, Gaming vice, Music (both earphones and speaker) and content vice, Camera wise, THIS IS A BLOODY BEEAASSSTTT!!!! The QHD+ display is just ❤ man!! The haptics are sexy. I was facing the battery draining issue after the July update but with the new update it's completely fixed. I'd like to add, The light sensor of this phone SUCKKKSSSS big time!!!! This is the major area where they need to work.

using this beast from past 2 weeks . Better than 12r and screen to body ratio is better than any smartphone whether its iphone 16 pro max or s24+. Colours are very accurate and cameras are also good. Bought in big billion days. Animations on gt series are also next level.

Bro it is a feature for OnePlus mobiles in Settings wifi - Wifi Assistant - Auto Switch to mobile network. Basically it will switch to mobile network when wifi network slows down. This guy can turn off that. He is tech youtuber and reviewing after 6 months and he doesn't know this 😂😂😂.

Using OnePlus 12 for the last 6 months and I can confirm that I am facing network issue. Sometimes while using Wifi still remains connected but surfing gets stopped unless you reconnect or use mobile data. Also faced the PIP issue as mentioned. But despite these, I bought it for camera and flagship experience and I am happy using that. Only video quality feels a letdown in comparison with iPhones but overall a beast package...❤
Hello Sanchit, an OP12 user here. Currently, there are no issues with the phone except for the dynamic refresh rate option. On auto-switch, all apps are running at 60Hz, except for Settings. Also, for some reason, Instagram is running at 30Hz with auto-switch, and the app feels very jittery. All the issues are resolved when forcing it to a high refresh rate, but at the cost of battery life. Have you come across such issues?

@@ayushseth____ No, I didn't encounter any fogging issue till now even I have put my phone under running water once when it was hot during a photography session.
Hyper OS is butter smooth till now and I am happy with it. The only thing that is not consistent is the software updates. It is still running in the July security patch.

Yes i am also using oneplus 12 , so googd so far . No greenline issue and great camera . I ve played bgmi and codm for 4 hrs plus sessions still stable fps all the time . And the wifi problem sanchit mentioned, i ve also faced and its very frustrating 😅
This is my 3rd one plus phone. I am a big fan of oneplus since 2017, First I used oneplus 3T , then 6T & now using oneplus 12 since March 24, I haven't seen any issues in oneplus 12 , performance vise it is great phone, oneplus has done a tremendous improvement on camera department compared to Previous oneplus phone. Photos clicked in Potrait mode are awesome. Overall I think it is a great phone to buy in this prices segment..
Went from 5t to 8t ( cam setup was old but not bad ) to 12 now....not a single issue till date.

Even after criticism and Failures i chose to update my years old OnePlus 6T to OnePlus 12 and i am happy with the overall device i just check the community for update related issues if any which were none till date so i will say it's a great buy!!!
For "Black Crush" issue there is a workaround... Just change the display color setting to "Vivid" mode.
As an one plus 12 user I can say this phone is really good but the only problem as of now is the optimisation of the 8gen 3 for gaming.... let's see if it goes off by time via updates... other than that like every phone have some minor bugs so does the op12 ... This phone is value for money...just keep in mind that you keep your phone cool during gaming, updating and charging by using fan or AC or table fans.

Hi, Sanchit, I am using it from last 4 months and I have to say this that my experience is awesome 👍. No green line no battery drain no heating issues. Also it is value for money. No often a user shoots 4k videos so it is not a big problem. Liked to see someone like u still believes in one plus and reviewing this phone. Applauds to u Sanchit.
I've bought this OP12 literally 2 months back, i am big oneplus fan, been using the op 8 for 4.5 years so wanted to change that too, but all the green line issue and the motherboard dead issue, i did made up my mind for s24 but after all the reviews and considering that noone was facing the greenline issues i pulled the trigger on this, the battery is the major advantage on these phones, frankly if you have used op you cannot go to other phones, the battery backup and charging always pulls you back

The most accurate thing that you mentioned in this video - This is the best phone for someone wanting to move to the premium segment. It's the same case with me actually, I moved from iphone se to this, and I could never be happier!

My oneplus 12 is not even a month old and i have 1600 videos and phone is filled to 240/256gb. I can say it doesn't heat in normal room enviornment but it does heat when talking videos in bright sunlight, but the videos come out spectacular especially in dolby vision HDR, and it definitely hits the 4500nits mark in native device recorded video, never stops recording due to its excellent thermal management unlike iphone 15 and s24 series.

I personally like the OnePlus 12, but after using it for two months, I've noticed some frustrating issues. I'm experiencing significant idle battery drain of around 4-6%. Additionally, when I try to remove videos from the "Continue Watching" list on RUclips, the app hangs, which is quite irritating. I hope OnePlus addresses these issues soon.

Using the same coloured OP12 (12/256) for a couple of months now, when the phone was brand new (out of the box), used to get almost 10+ hrs of SOT everyday, the highest being 13h for me, used to charge it only once for 1.5-2 days which was kind of shocking for me as I've never seen such incredible battery performance from all the devices that I've used so far. After the updates, the SOT is so worse now, I hardly get 5.5-6h on medium usage, such worst updates from OP, don't understand what kind of android engineers OP has hired, but the whole situation feels like they are hands down 'the' worst bunch of android software engineers that any smartphone brand can have and 'NO' the Aug SW update hasn't changed/fixed anything, that's absolute BS to the core, the same sh** remains and continues... nothing has changed... the battery is as worse as it can be...
