Superb! Performances like this remind us what music there is all around us, and to be playful in our interactions with objects.
3:04-3:13 sounds like shawty
That poor bow! :D Great stuff... music and rhythm is first and foremost, art. Art is subjective. And some of the best art (imo) is abstract... this was, indeed, art.
That’s the way David Lynch plays drums
Wow something different to listen. This is art. Expressions feelings sounds language.

Fantastic session.

Awesome!!!
Do you have any tips/advice for someone trying to play this style?
1. Playing with mentors who have been in the style for a while
2. Deeply listening to the sounds that happen around you in everyday life, and the semi-order that the combinations of those sounds can bring
3. Working on phrasing- get as many different “rhythms” as possible,
4. Try viewing improvising as active composition- you might be making the wildest sounds ever, but, imagine what you’re doing as an experimental composition, there ultimately is a beginning, middle, and end- dynamics is key.
Do Not Try !!!
practice and have fun
