Fun Fact! did you know that in Greek mythology Zeus was absolutely TERRIFIED of Nyx, in fact once one of Nyx's children made Zeus angry and he chased them, they knew that Zeus was very powerful so they went straight to mama Nyx. Zeus did not bother any of Nyx's children again.

I feel that the game Hades does a good job at describing Nyx and captures her beauty well. She was the mother figure for Hades' son, Zagreus, and hid his mother, Persephone, from everyone on Olympus and even herself so she could live a peaceful life after she witnessed Zagreus die as a newborn. Nyx raised Zagreus well and always treated him as her own child.

You should do the story of Callisto If you don't know how the story goes is she was one of Artemis followers and vowed to stay unwed but one day she was bathing and Zeus thought she was beautiful and made himself look like Artemis, he then talked to her and she was about to leave the water but he grabbed her rist and he was stronger then her so he SAd her a few months later she was pregnant and Artemis found out and turned her into a bear after her son was born she was then later on hunted and died edit: sorry if I got anything wrong it's been awhile since I read the story

Fun fact: They say Nyx, Gaea, Tartarus, Eros, Erebus were all born from something called Chaos. Nyx and Erebus are siblings, Erebus is absolute darkness while Nyx is well, night. Gaea is the Goddess of Earth. Tartarus who represents the deepest pits of the underworld. Eros, the embodiment of Desire. Nyx and Erebus had a union which created Aether and Hemera Aether the upper sky and Hemera- she represents light (obvi) Gaea gave birth to Ouranos a God as powerful as herself. Ouranos was the vast sky that blankets all things. The Ourea is the mountains and Pontus was the sea. Ouranos married Gaea (weird) and gave birth to six Titans. Theia, Rhea, Themis, Mnemosyne, Phoebe, Tethys and Okeanus, Koios, Kreios, Hyperion, Iapetus, and Kronos. Gaea then gave birth to the Cyclopes, Hecatoncheies, but Ouranos found Hecatoncheies hideous so when each were born he threw them deep into the earth all the way down too Tartarus. But Gaea didn't like it so she created a trick and gathered her children. Said "Children of mine and of an evil father I wonder whether you would like to do as I say? Let us get revenge for your fathers cruelty." But her kids hesitated- besides Kronus- her youngest. Who agreed to the plan and hid. Then when Ouranos desired Gaea he "spread" himself over the Earth and as planned Kronus jumped out and sliced off his genitals and threw them behind him, but the blood from Ouranos was received by Gaea and gave birth to Erinyes, Goddesses of vengeance. Pls I would genuinely love to see you do another interpretation of this with Athena in place of Nyx! She actually is terrifyingly strong and able to overpower Zeus (she helps a few other gods trap him in a golden net in one legend, she has access to his lightning bolts, she's insanely clever and well versed in battle, etc). In fact, it seems like her fierce loyalty to her father is the only reason she didn't overthrow him. I'd love to see her pushed past her patience and take action against him
I mean, it's true. He basically consumed his first wife, and his treatment of Hera wasn't much better, not to mention how he treated all his lovers. Consent was always a loose concept at best in the myths.

Her and Erebus's children will be second gen primordials, and Gaia and Uranus's children are Titans, who's children will be second generation Titans, Kronos and Rhea's children will then be Major gods, who's children (with other gods) will be minor gods, and their children with mortals will be demigods. So Zeus is faaaar down the line, and less powerful than Nyx, or any first gen primordial for that matter, even though he's the king of the gods. *(I know a lot about Greek and Roman mythology cause I've read Percy Jackson so many dam times)*

It was Hypnos. He helped Hera put Zeus to sleep but Zeus wasn't under long enough so Hypnos ran straight to his mom in Tartarus.
I think it was because zeus didnt want to fight her in her territory but i think he could fight her at olympus

Fun fact: They say Nyx, Gaea, Tartarus, Eros, Erebus were all born from something called Chaos.
Nyx and Erebus are siblings, Erebus is absolute darkness while Nyx is well, night.
Gaea is the Goddess of Earth.
Tartarus who represents the deepest pits of the underworld.
Eros, the embodiment of Desire.
Nyx and Erebus had a union which created Aether and Hemera
Aether the upper sky and Hemera- she represents light (obvi)
Gaea gave birth to Ouranos a God as powerful as herself. Ouranos was the vast sky that blankets all things.
The Ourea is the mountains and Pontus was the sea.
Ouranos married Gaea (weird) and gave birth to six Titans.
Theia, Rhea, Themis, Mnemosyne, Phoebe, Tethys and Okeanus, Koios, Kreios, Hyperion, Iapetus, and Kronos.
Gaea then gave birth to the Cyclopes, Hecatoncheies, but Ouranos found Hecatoncheies hideous so when each were born he threw them deep into the earth all the way down too Tartarus.
But Gaea didn't like it so she created a trick and gathered her children. Said "Children of mine and of an evil father I wonder whether you would like to do as I say? Let us get revenge for your fathers cruelty." But her kids hesitated- besides Kronus- her youngest.
Who agreed to the plan and hid. Then when Ouranos desired Gaea he "spread" himself over the Earth and as planned Kronus jumped out and sliced off his genitals and threw them behind him, but the blood from Ouranos was received by Gaea and gave birth to Erinyes, Goddesses of vengeance. Better known as "the furies.". Then gave birth to Gigantes, and Meliads. And with the genitals they fell into the sea, creating Aphrodite. The goddess of love.

Pls I would genuinely love to see you do another interpretation of this with Athena in place of Nyx! She actually is terrifyingly strong and able to overpower Zeus (she helps a few other gods trap him in a golden net in one legend, she has access to his lightning bolts, she's insanely clever and well versed in battle, etc). In fact, it seems like her fierce loyalty to her father is the only reason she didn't overthrow him. I'd love to see her pushed past her patience and take action against him

Zeus is terrified of Nyx, cause she's the primordial goddess of the night, and she's much stronger than him cause she's a first generation primordial, who are the children of the creator in Greek and Roman mythology, Chaos. Her and Erebus's children will be second gen primordials, and Gaia and Uranus's children are Titans, who's children will be second generation Titans, Kronos and Rhea's children will then be Major gods, who's children (with other gods) will be minor gods, and their children with mortals will be demigods.
So Zeus is faaaar down the line, and less powerful than Nyx, or any first gen primordial for that matter, even though he's the king of the gods.
