Please make sure to like, comment and subscribe and if you want to help support this channel it won't cost you anything. all you have to do is use the links in the description if you want to get some of these lights for yourself. hey what's going on it’s rich back with another awesome video for you. the reason it is dark right now is i wanted to show you the lights on the car that i have right now. i have the philips leds installed. i don't have a bulb in the back but that's what it looks like right now.
So basically you're going to see your lights in here like this. These are the philips 6000K. these are a little bit brighter than the regular ones. these are called ultinons. here are the phillips bulbs. you're going to take it and insert it like so. once you get it in there it should be working. that's what the blue looks like. It’s a really nice blue. all right so we gotboth of them installed this is what it looks like. The car has a really nice blue glow right now. this is one of my really small snap-on screwdrivers. it looks really cool. It has kind of like a black-light effect to it and makes everything glow really wild. i'm loving these lights i've. had these a long time but these actually are the ultinons. these are the better ones. really really good lights from phillips. this is the one for the back seat. it’s actually in the middle of the car right above the back seat. i would recommend using a pry bar but i was really gentle. I just used a really small flat head screwdriver and pried the cover off this is what's left. i actually had a led in there before, so i'm gonna pop my led out. all you have to do is take a little flathead screwdriver and just pull down And it pops right out here's the phillips ultinon bulb. make sure that you put the white part facing up and the clear part where the light comes out of facing down. obviously you want the light to come into the car. i'm loving the color inside. You get the blue light back there It’s kind of hard to see. i apologize my car is a little bit messy right now. it shows up a little bit better when you look at it from the front of the car. of course i got the tint strip across the top. that's all you can see inside. so thanks so much for watching. i really hope this video helped you out. if you wanted to pick up some of these lights for yourself i'm gonna leave some links down in the description. On a side note, I believe the visual effect is caused by desensitization to the cone cells in your retina which tones-down the sensitivity in the cones to the color you are looking at (in this case, blue) and makes its complimentary color (orange) pop because your sensitivity to red and yellow are still normal. When you watch The Matrix, for instance, you will notice a green or blue background to make the characters' skin tone pop. Disney and several other studios have also implement this technique in the last 20 or so years... Now when you notice it, you will never again stop noticing it lol
