I have only been betting for 14 weeks and just, organically, figured this out last week. Unders, especially in potential blowouts are smashing! This video is simply confirmation that I am learning how to bet properly. Only placing $5 (unit) bets currently, but I'm up over 100 units during this span. When I increase that bankroll and sharpen my methodology, I'll increase my unit size. Glad i found your content. Liked and subbed.
My unit is $5 as well. I’m up 50 units since 7 weeks ago! I started playing unders the past few weeks too. Just happened to realize I could find the most value there on prize picks.

Exacly. It's a matter of goalkeeping. When under, 3 shots on goal results in 3-0. In over, 8 shots on goal and maybe you get one in.

The general public always have been always will be favorite & over bettors. I used to be afraid to bet unders in baseball because when I started betting in the late 90s you could easily have a game go over in the first few innings...by the bottom of the 3rd it's 6-5. Nowadays with so many runs coming off HRs it seems to lead to more 4-2 6-1 type of games and you might even have 5 HRs all solo shots. NBA games you're literally losing an over bet for almost the entire game if not the entire game if it stays under. You'll never see an NBA game go over in the first half. You'll occasionally see football games go over in the first half or early 3rd quarter. It's strange to me how some people won't bet unders but there's tons of people who never do. Now there's teams I won't dare bet under like the Pacers. But they're one of the only teams right now. Tough to find value in NBA overs when they're all in the 235-245 range

I've been betting for a few months now and analyzing data everyday for months. I like to figure out how probable overs/unders are based on prior 10 game scoring averages, 5 game averages, 3 game average and what percent the opposing team is allowing opponents to reach of said averages above based on their last 10 opponents. I scan different categories on the sportsbook and try my best to pick the most profitable and probable bets based on the analysis.

Makes sense to me, because who wants to bet an under on an NBA game they plan on watching and root for players to miss shots and go defense. There has to be something to this.
For sure. And this definitely isn’t to say ONLY bet unders. Just that you’re leaving a ton of value on the table when you’re only betting overs

I was smashing on the unders on weak cbb conferences. Especially during conferences tournaments, when they play back to back days. Bankroll mgt is key

It’s incredible i try to go back on last 10 years looking for that scenario. But it is unreal when I bet under it’s a joke I get crushed it’s the worst. Guy is right but unders blow but now hockey under 6.5 every game you will win games have tighten up. Meaning defense has tightened up. Then there is a bet on first q over 61 lakers at clippers only laid 50$ because it seems so easy and 64 was the avg score few time laker are clippers and underdogs.. So I need t io realize how to find value.
I only do unders tbh . ESP nba . Injury proof and blowout proof and sometimes the coaches be having their own agendas

It’s all a matter of which books are giving us lines that are bettable. Superstar unders are often great bets because NO ONE wants to bet the under on that, so you’ll see the books shade to the over. But it still has to make sense. You don’t just take the under to take the under. That’s where the +EV betting approach I talked about in the video comes into play with OddsShopper or any other +EV tools you might use

(78-78) - then halftime, live line is 272.5 - that is almost 50 points more than the opening line - and yes, the under for the 2nd half won - would that be a value bet in your opinion?
I would get quarterly data on the NBA, on each team, for the whole season. Maybe two seasons.

The stats speak for itself. A simple google search would tell you. Also anyone who does betting knows the best time to place bets is before the game when the odds are just a guess. There are too many parameters for in-game bets. Also the flow of the game changes drastically between halves.

How would you if Sportsbooks charge more juice on overs? I think as far as basketball goes the under is in our favor. Foul trouble, injuries, ejections, etc. The worst enemy of an under is ot. And how often does that happen? I've hit multiple 5 leg parlays taking all unders using oddsshopper and other resources.
I bet overs all the time and do very well. I bet live during the game you can catch some great plus money odds on overs live.

I always search for the lowest vig. No way am i pissing money away just to place a bet. I did find a really profitable o/u in baseball last year. With the inception of the pitch clock, weekday pitchers gave up more runs combined than the book's line. The bookmakers did a better job with weekend pitchers. However, there was a bit of unknown with the new system and the books underestimated the line, especially during the week, with teams that were known run producers. This will be where i focus my attention this year.

out of the past 22 times i have bet on a spread, the under only hit twice. Everything else was over. Not sure I agree with this. It depends on the flow of the game.

There is not true behind the point that unders come more times than overs. If the betting company is pricing correct the totals, you will not find value, if they are pricing them wrong you will. You can find value betting over on a soccer match in Egypt and value betting on the under in a match in Austria Bundesliga.
Of course but I’m speaking about props .. and yes, there is legitimate value on unders.. not blindly betting unders, but if you’re looking for +EV spots, the books shade lines to the over more often.

In short.... Stop betting juice!!! Nothing lower than (-135) Stay close to even money or higher.
Betting juice can be fine if you know it should be more. Like if you’re betting a -140 but you know it should be -170 that’s still a good bet. The problem is when the books are juicing a line more than it should be and you’re still betting it
