@@Finnishnat-conservativedot7126 yes and no. I don't like communism at all, because it just wouldn't work with humans but I still think that communist and socialist movements had the best music. Fascist movement had good music too but communist songs just hit different
@@Dr.Leymen despite being a classical liberal, I think italian fascist music might be one of the best, its very clear about goals, very cheery and pleasant sounding, overall an audio treat. German songs are overrated imo
@@Finnishnat-conservativedot7126 oh I agree, Italian fascist songs are also pretty catchy. And I am not just talking about German songs. Soviet, Swedish and Brittish communist and fascist songs are catchy as well and just sound good(aside from the topic they are singing about) A lot of old German and Brittish colonial songs are also very good and Irish resistance songs go hard as well
@@Dr.Leymen I know it might be a bias from me, but Finnish wartime songs (civil war, winter war, xontinuation war) sound good as fuck, and that's a hill i can die on
As a native speaker of German and near-native of English, I would've rather translated "ladet die blanken Gewehre" as "load the/your empty rifles." "blank" can colloquially mean that something's empty. For example, "Ich bin blank" means "I'm broke", as in, having an empty wallet. Either way, this song's a good find! Quite catchy.
Очень вдохновляющая песня, особенно когда чётко знаешь перевод. Завораживает и пробуждает что-то тёплое... надежду и любовь. Любовь к людям наверное, что они на самом деле могут быть лучше чем есть.

Hearing the song I was like "I thought german revolutionnaries were pacifist". And then I saw 1928 and it made sense. Maybe if the KPD hadnt been so naive and hasty in 1919, germany would have taken a completely different path.
To be fair, one part of the historical truth is also that the whole state and justice system was on the far right. They were very strictly persecuting even minor crimes and offenses from the extreme left, while they allowed the far right to do practically whatever they want. In a fair democratic system, Hitler would have surely received a greater punishment than 9 months of prison for litterally trying to overthrow the government. I somewhat understand that in such a pro fascist state apparatus, they tended to see violence as the only way out.
