Arsen Kurbanov - Outstanding Russian Painter

Arsen Kurbanov is currently living in St. Petersburg as a full time painting artist. He was born in Makhachkala, Dagestan, USSR. His parents and brother are artists. He has been painting in Russia and abroad. His work has been exhibited in Germany, USA, Holland, China, Norway, Finland.
"Arsen continues to paint in St. Petersburg with his work shown internationally.
In 1993, the St. Petersburg House of Cinema featured his work in a solo exhibition.
He has participated in Artists' Union exhibitions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Makhachkala.
Twice Kurbanov has exhibited his work in the German cities of Hamburg and Berlin.
In 1997 he won the exhibition/competition My Russia . . . My World, at the United Nations informational center in Moscow."
