    He is so majestic. I'm one of those odd people that will never own a snake (I own too many critters they would like to like to eat) but enjoy watching others raise them.

    Another great video Al, and I have to say that the Beast is as handsome a cobra as I have ever seen! I never get tired of looking at him. He is so "laid back" compared to Elvis, who always seems to be in high gear, LOL. The fang prick was unexpected and the expletive appropriate! You put the scare into us all I'm sure. You mentioned Jurassic World, does that mean you filmed this after your surgery? If so, welcome back!
    Cheers,
    Rich

    Great video of your beautiful snakes as always. how ironic that just as you say about being careful "boom " you stick yourself with the fang, also in the close-up your T-shirt says flesh wound. lol, I shouldn't laugh but I'm sure you can see the funny side of this also. At least there was no Gaboon viper on the end of the fang

  • @gabemccoy9276
    @gabemccoy9276 8 лет назад +3

    the bitis gabonica is my favorite of along with the Bothrops insularis but the patterns on it are so beautiful and just a shy but extremely deadly snake you would think it would try and scare away predator but most African animals like the badger "which from what I hear can stop a 44 magnum round with its fat not sure if its true or not" but the badger can with stand most venom so the snake is smart in staying hidden along with its brilliant camouflage.
    just what I think I need to study up on this hopefully I don't seem stupid.

    I read a story in ripleys belive it or not. It went something along the lines of; a man was bit through his boots by a rattler and died. Then his son had his boots and got stuck by a fang from the same snake and died. I think the grandson did too. Anyways it been several years sinse I read it and I'm not sure if its true. Viperkeeper your a lucky man. Glad all you got was a good poke.
