Hope your thumb is ok !!! Yikes !! Thanks for the views of black beast :) Hes so beautiful !! You should start your own reality show "Arguing with Elvis" lol gotta love him
He is so majestic. I'm one of those odd people that will never own a snake (I own too many critters they would like to like to eat) but enjoy watching others raise them.
Thank you for your excellent video's I am a retired Conservation officer and have learned so much from your video's. Your expertise is impressive and I wait ever week for your tapes. Thank Again for the very fine video's.
The black behind the scales of the green mamba make such an awesome contrast and match to the shade of green... wow! Thanks again, Viperkeeper... awesome video as always.
Oh wow, I really enjoyed this video thank you for sharing this with us. Loved seeing the Black Beast no matter what angle. Very good shot. I hope your finger feels better. Enjoyed the pattern on the Gaboon Viper, just stunning.
Another great video Al, and I have to say that the Beast is as handsome a cobra as I have ever seen! I never get tired of looking at him. He is so "laid back" compared to Elvis, who always seems to be in high gear, LOL. The fang prick was unexpected and the expletive appropriate! You put the scare into us all I'm sure. You mentioned Jurassic World, does that mean you filmed this after your surgery? If so, welcome back! Cheers, Rich
viperkeeper I cannot get enough of your videos. These beautiful snakes fascinate me. I myself only have a Ball Python. Thank you for the hours of entertainment I've enjoyed from your channel.
Watching the Jameison Green causes me to be contantly amazed at what they can do without arms or hands. The way they always rotate the kill, then start consuming it from the nose, most every time! Miraculous....
Thanks for a great video. I'm glad the fang-stick turned out ok. Beautiful snakes and an educational show. I hope you video Elvis when he moves to a new "home".
Loved the video. The Black Beast had won me over and is right up there with Elvis, Slinky, and Kermit, in terms of my favorites. He's so chill, beautiful, and a sweetheart most of the time. Glad your Gaboon scare was just a scare. Gotta be careful!
Yes I agree with everyone else another great video! Boy is the Beast a Beautiful guy! and Slinky is no slouch either!! You got to be careful handling those fangs! Take care!
I'm really glad that the fang wasn't still attached, too! YIKES! And thanks for all the rats from the peanut gallery...LOL! Have a great weekend, your videos always make mine:-)
The Black Beast is my favorite :). I've always LOVED cobras over any other snake, and he is so gentle and beautiful. To bad about the venom, could've made a wonderful companion xD
Great video of your beautiful snakes as always. how ironic that just as you say about being careful "boom " you stick yourself with the fang, also in the close-up your T-shirt says flesh wound. lol, I shouldn't laugh but I'm sure you can see the funny side of this also. At least there was no Gaboon viper on the end of the fang
Got scared for you there for a second Al. Out of all the snakes in your collection, I think that's the last one I'd like to have a fang in me, not that the rest have venom with pleasant effects.
Thanks for sharing again Al. I thought it was ironic that your shirt said, "Flesh Wound" on it when you poked yourself with the fang. I'm really glad there was no venom.
the bitis gabonica is my favorite of along with the Bothrops insularis but the patterns on it are so beautiful and just a shy but extremely deadly snake you would think it would try and scare away predator but most African animals like the badger "which from what I hear can stop a 44 magnum round with its fat not sure if its true or not" but the badger can with stand most venom so the snake is smart in staying hidden along with its brilliant camouflage. just what I think I need to study up on this hopefully I don't seem stupid.
Since I have seen some snake-videos (Elvis!!!) from Viperkeeper, I respect snakes. Elvis, the black beast and Kermit are exceptions. I like these specimen. I hope Viperkeeper is continuing his awesome work for a few years. Considering he is not that young anymore ;-)
Black Beast fan service :D his scales look metallic, very attractive. And that fang is impressive. The background sound is all just "Elvis...-_-" haha. Nice vid as usual, good mix up of great snakes. I would just love to see Kermit the explorer, we havent had that in ages.
great video as always. my faves that you own are elvis, gabby, and black beast. I do like how you recently got a russells viper in as that is my favorite viper of them all other than the gabby. would you mind giving the russells viper some camera time?
I read a story in ripleys belive it or not. It went something along the lines of; a man was bit through his boots by a rattler and died. Then his son had his boots and got stuck by a fang from the same snake and died. I think the grandson did too. Anyways it been several years sinse I read it and I'm not sure if its true. Viperkeeper your a lucky man. Glad all you got was a good poke.
Whatever happened to "Miss Pink"? Also i would have to say I love all snakes but since i started watching you i really enjoy watching your western Gaboon's , also thanks for the great videos!
when removing the glass panes from the vision cages would a suction cup tool like this be useful or would it get in the way? www.mytoolstore.com/woods/nseries.html?gclid=CMWuptCxiMcCFciFfgod4HUFow
I am fascinated with your videos, I am sure you have mention in this in previous videos, but you mention milking snakes, would it be beneficial to milk these snakes in order to have anti-venom supply, not just for you but for others,
Hope your thumb is ok !!!
That Green mamba looks like it was airbrushed. That pattern is incredible.
i love that you talk to the snakes
It was a strange coincidence that Viperkeeper was wearing a T-shirt that said "Flesh Wound" when the fang got him.
Can't get enough of this handsome fella. Wish there was a calendar with just him 😎😘
Oh wow, I really enjoyed this video thank you for sharing this with us. Loved seeing the Black Beast no matter what angle. Very good shot. I hope your finger feels better. Enjoyed the pattern on the Gaboon Viper, just stunning.
Black Beast is super chill. It's hard to believe he's related to those total spaz Egyptian spitters.
For extra hilarity, when he sticks himself with the fang he's wearing a shirt that says "Tis' but a flesh wound!"
Another great video Al, and I have to say that the Beast is as handsome a cobra as I have ever seen! I never get tired of looking at him. He is so "laid back" compared to Elvis, who always seems to be in high gear, LOL. The fang prick was unexpected and the expletive appropriate! You put the scare into us all I'm sure. viperkeeper I cannot get enough of your videos. These beautiful snakes fascinate me. I myself only have a Ball Python. Thank you for the hours of entertainment I've enjoyed from your channel.
Loved this snake, still go back to watch the old episodes.
Viperkeeper rocks
Friday mornings wouldn't be the same without Viper Keeper's video!
Watching the Jameison Green causes me to be contantly amazed at what they can do without arms or hands. The way they always rotate the kill, then start consuming it from the nose, most every time!
Miraculous....

I think the Gaboons and the Rhinos are just the most beautiful creatures!
Keep up the good work, sir!
That Gaboon Viper has such an expressive face!
I hope your finger is alright after getting stuck with the fang!
Love your videos, Al. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into this channel.
Thanks for a great video. I'm glad the fang-stick turned out ok. Beautiful snakes and an educational show. I hope you video Elvis when he moves to a new "home".

Yes I agree with everyone else another great video! Boy is the Beast a Beautiful guy! and Slinky is no slouch either!! You got to be careful handling those fangs! Take care!
I admire the way you see, to have a connection with your snakes!
Impressive looking snake! Another great video... I wouldn't want to see this guy without a barrier. Thanks again, viperkeeper.
I'm really glad that the fang wasn't still attached, too! YIKES! And thanks for all the rats from the peanut gallery...LOL! Have a great weekend, your videos always make mine:-)
Tis only a flesh wound (anyone else think of the shirt when he stuck himself)
The Black Beast is a beauty! And yes, his venom glands are truly impressive.
What a beautiful face! I wouldnt be able to keep venomous, I'd be too tempted to give them a hug!
Good video as always. Hope that was a dry fang stick!
Thanks again for the info you share on your venomous snakes. And i am glad your okay. Thanks for sharing as always.
these are such beautiful snakes, thanks for sharing!
I think I jumped as much as you did when you stuck yourself.
The Black Beast is my favorite :). I've always LOVED cobras over any other snake, and he is so gentle and beautiful. To bad about the venom, could've made a wonderful companion xD

The viper has a huge mouth what an adorable deadly animal
yoh - that Gaboon viper is insane. What a huge head and mouth!!
Got scared for you there for a second Al. Out of all the snakes in your collection, I think that's the last one I'd like to have a fang in me, not that the rest have venom with pleasant effects.
Great video as usual Al, glad you poke is ok and Cant wait to see Elvis and his new cage!
The sight of this snake alone makes me nervous.
Holy moly that was scary, hope everything turned out ok!
Thanks for sharing again Al. I thought it was ironic that your shirt said, "Flesh Wound" on it when you poked yourself with the fang. I'm really glad there was no venom.
I love cobras, and the black beast is my favorite. 😍😍😍

just what I think I need to study up on this hopefully I don't seem stupid.
I wished there is a predator that eats cockroaches only.
Very nice colouration on the western green.
It's cool to see how the gaboon viper eats the rat. It walks it down with its fangs? And how potent would its venom be?
Thanks for the new vid, love your passion and mastery of your craft
Since I have seen some snake-videos (Elvis!!!) from Viperkeeper, I respect snakes. Elvis, the black beast and Kermit are exceptions. I like these specimen. I hope Viperkeeper is continuing his awesome work for a few years. Considering he is not that young anymore ;-)
That West African green mamba is beautiful.
Black Beast fan service :D his scales look metallic, very attractive. And that fang is impressive. The background sound is all just "Elvis...-_-" haha. Nice vid as usual, good mix up of great snakes.
I would just love to see Kermit the explorer, we havent had that in ages.
viperkeeper that west green's scale patterns are beautiful!
Thanks for the venom talk, super interesting. Thanks for the new video!
gorgeous snake
Thx he really is by far my favorite and so damn pretty and cute =)
yeah, i was kind of wondering why you picked the fang up by the tip of all places, instead of the base, or further up.
Viperkeeper is the BEST!!!!!!😀😀😀😀😀
He is such a beautiful reptile.
what is the idea of the wood in the doors I love your videos of the snakes and how they like your family
Loved the video thank you for sharing
great video as always. my faves that you own are elvis, gabby, and black beast. I do like how you recently got a russells viper in as that is my favorite viper of them all other than the gabby. would you mind giving the russells viper some camera time?
Maybe wearing that particular T-shirt wasn't the best idea? Anyhow hope you are ok and Mrs Viperkeeper too.
awesome vid, thanks keeper!
Black Beast
I read a story in ripleys belive it or not. It went something along the lines of; a man was bit through his boots by a rattler and died. Hah did somebody give you contact lenses while I was gone. Absolutely great.
If there had been venom in the fang, would it have been enough to be medically significant?
Hope nothing serious with the "fang accident". Thanks as always for your wonderful videos.
This video made my day!!!
Thanks for another great video V/K! Was wondering how the krait that had problems feeding is doing?
And holy crap! I commented before seeing that last bit, I would've been crapping my pants! So glad your ok!
Want to see Rhino snake more often.
Heh, Elvis is quite the personality. Keep it up VK.
This guy sounds like shoenice.
Quick question, for one of the most venomous snakes, why is Elvis seem so docile and even a bit playful at times.
Please tell us you are ok!! Haha Yikes!!
Thanks agin for another great vid!!!!
Whatever happened to "Miss Pink"? Also i would have to say I love all snakes but since i started watching you i really enjoy watching your western Gaboon's , also thanks for the great videos!
do you have a video where you let the Black Beast take a stroll like Elvis? And if you don't would you ever let him stroll around?
Hey Al,
I read Naja nigricollis sometimes spit without even hooding? Do Najas ever strike without hooding too?
Viperkeeper can you tell what kind of cages you use and were I can get them. They look like nice cages.
Dumb question, do snake tongues move while they're sleeping ??
That green mamba the prettiest
How long does it take for the Gaboon Vipers fang to grow back?
Great videos by the way!
beauty and so mellow
Hey VK: do snakes ever get kinks or knots in their muscles that prevent them from slithering properly?
VK for president. lol thanks for the vid. Black Beast kicks ass
when removing the glass panes from the vision cages would a suction cup tool like this be useful or would it get in the way?
www.mytoolstore.com/woods/nseries.html?gclid=CMWuptCxiMcCFciFfgod4HUFow
will the fang grow back in or will she loose it for good?
Please be more careful with those freshly shed fangs.
I am fascinated with your videos, I am sure you have mention in this in previous videos, but you mention milking snakes, would it be beneficial to milk these snakes in order to have anti-venom supply, not just for you but for others,
Do alot of your Snakes 🐍 know when you enter the Room ?
very handsome snake
i know this may be a really dumb question but do snakes have a protective covering for there fangs or is it just like us teeth set into gums
They have sheaths that cover their fangs and teeth, mostly so they don't poke themself.
are the black spitting cobras one of the largest venomous snakes? he looks huge
So a spitting cobra bite and spit and both are dangerous correct?
Well? how the thumb!
Thumbs up!
What's the difference between easter and western gaboom vipers?
Why do you put the wooden blocks in the glass?
