    I've been using IN-5's strapped to a WS-6.2 and the sound is incredible for the money. However I've just moved to a much bigger room so I'm going to swap up to the 8's to let the top bins breathe a bit more. The WS-6.2 sub is incredible and fully I recommend it, the biggest surprise was that the sound stage got even bigger with the sub taking the very lows out of the tops. Superb! 😎

      Yeah bro just keep in mind the in-8s are bigger than the ws. 6.2 sub! they are huge

    Fantastic video mate. How do I calibrate it to the room? Is that any such feature? Isnt this is very important? I dont believe the tuning feature give the same results as calibrate a speaker for a room?

    • @ju1ceaudio
      @ju1ceaudio  7 дней назад

      If you want fine tuning you can use sonarworks, but wother wise there are many options on these that i dont find sonarworks necessary

    Love your videos!
    I need speakers for my desktop for near field Hifi listening, often at low volumes. I have a sub and a fantastic R2R dac. So monitors make sense as they are designed to perform in near field but to your point they won’t make the music sound good. What do you recommend for this use case?

    Hey man, great video! Ive been using HS8's for 4 years in my studio at home and wanted a set for my new studio. I really value a wide soundstage and great imaging, because i work with alot of atmospheric sounds. Do you think these would be better than the HS8's in that regard?

    • @ju1ceaudio

      Thanks bro! Yeah these are way better than the hs8s. The mid range driver defiantly improves the soundstage by alot

    I've listened a in8 v2 monitor conected straight to my smartphone (xlr to 3.5 jack). Do you think there would be a significant sound improvement if i added a DAC between them? Or not that much?

    Would you say the sound quality of the adam a8h are worth the price when compared these? For example about $3k for the a8h pair versus $800 for the pair of Kali in 8 v2's. I really liked the ribbon tweeter but I dont know if the $2200 difference is justified since I never heard either monitor in person.
    I had Adam T7V previously with t10s sub and was more than happy with that setup at the time. I look forward to seeing review of the kali sub !! I mainly work on trap beats and enjoy low bass extension. Thanks man.

    • @ju1ceaudio
      @ju1ceaudio  4 месяца назад +2

      It depends honestly how they sound in your room. The adam a8h sounds super good and are worth the price. The kalis you get more for the price but of course you can get better quality if you spend more. These are better than the t7vs forsure though.

    Hi, you are reviewing several monitors I am currently considering for purchase. You seem to really like the Kali, 1. would you suggest them over the Adam A7X/A7Vs that you own?? Also you seem to like the coaxial design…..do you prefer that design over the regular separate 3 way design?? I am really considering Adam A8H (at the top of budget) for its 3 way design and 8 inch woofer to hopefully eliminate needing a sub. I currently have KRK V6 S4 6.5 inch monitors with a K10s sub. Thanks

    • @ju1ceaudio
      @ju1ceaudio  3 месяца назад

      Hello, so i would say its all about your room first, if you can try any of those first i would. yeah coaxial is the best by far for mixing, or at least 3 way beats a 2 way mostly. I would take the in-8s over the a7v but the a8hs are super good if you want more bass and have a larger room.

      @ju1ceaudio  4 месяца назад +2

      well the adam a8h are better but obv cost way more. It depends because some people like the ribbon and some people hate it. The adams have to be farther away more mid field as well.

    • @ILoveTelecasters
      @ILoveTelecasters 3 месяца назад +2

      I think there’s too many downsides vs upsides to using sonarworks. The latency forces you to turn it off whenever You’re not mixing… If you have an apollo you can analyze your room and put an eq on the monitor output without dealing with the latency. The results might not be as good as sonarworks, but it’s latency free - and free

    Is your Kali's distort on single sine wave ? I bought mine and they do :( I don't know if it is normal

    • @ju1ceaudio
      @ju1ceaudio  2 месяца назад +1

      NO! They should have zero distortion , return those asap. What hz was it btw?

    • @mishyhill9464
      @mishyhill9464 2 месяца назад

      @@ju1ceaudio I mean, I don’t know if it is distortion. It kinda is. When I play some notes like (G2, E3, B3), they are not clear. There is some additional sound. It is a sine wave from serum sub oscilator, so it is easy to catch. When I A/B compare it to my Adam Audio F5, there is no additional sound, only the sine wave.

    Thanks for the video. I can't help wondering if these speakers give you more separation in tone values when you mix
    will that transfer well to most people who are listening on 2 way speakers. Could you let me know your thoughts please?

    • @ju1ceaudio
      @ju1ceaudio  4 месяца назад

      Hmm thats great question. That would be the case if these 3 way had bad cross over between the diferent drivers. But luckly it doesnt and it sound mostly like 1 speaker.
