One major problem with all Ghanaians is that, we don't make maintenance plan as part of our socio-economic life responsibility. We are always looking for new things but we forget to care for/maintain the old things we have. So over the years we have become a nation with NO MAINTENANCE CULTURE. As soon as the roads, buildings or projects are constructed, it should be the responsibility of the municipal, local assembly, the chieftaincy and the residents to ensure proper use and maintenance of the roads and projects. In a Civilised country it is the above-mentioned responsibility to have an internal generated revenue to timely patch any potholes that may develop on the roads faster to avoid further deterioration of the roads. But unfortunately this is not the case. We will all overlook the deterioration of the roads from tiny state till they become in motorable. And then insult the central government for our bad roads and deteriorated projects. This is the nature of all Ghanaians across the country. So sad
POINT OF CORRECTION you’re right. Those who are to make sure maintenance goes on periodically are after mansions and V8 vehicles hence it has turned into a culture; No Maintenance Culture hmm. Let’s hope for a brighter day someday.
We capture our videos by driving or riding around. If you’re in Ghana then we are sure you know our roads. The roads are not nicely leveled so probably our car 🚘 or motorbike 🏍 will shake and when it shakes it shakes the camera 🎥 too.
