Greetings from England, good stuff again guys, many thanks and just keep them coming, they are brilliant! And yes, a Wednesday night at McDermotts is an absolute must for everyone during the season when Dubhlinn are in full flow, they just blow me away every time and consequently their music is constantly on in my car. Which brings me back to the Flags of Dublin, as it was at McDermotts that I first heard Tom Delaney play after I got talking to him in O’Donahue’s about 15 years ago, I think he’s now (or was) living in Dingle with Caroline from the Four Winds? (so does that make Tom a Blow-Out now?) Anyway, at 2:29 you have one of the greatest Uilleann Pipers on the plant, one of the best Trad fiddle players I have ever seen and in my humble opinion one of Ireland’s finest balladeers and song writers, so please could we have some Dubhlinn in your next posting (The Windbroke set is just on another planet) but all their work is just amazing, surely they are the new Planxty? (or I have I just committed heresy?) See you all in Sept...hopefully! Meanwhile, God bless you all in Doolin and keep safe everyone.❤️
