I had a repair shop and a couple friends from a neighboring town would bring over hotrods they'd buy and have me do the fixes any of the cars would need... Little or big , just do it. Here they show up with the same model car ( less 4 spd and power windows) He wasn't happy when he'd pull in to gas up and it just didn't rumble like he wanted, 2 days later he shows up with bigger cam ,roller rockers, solid lifters, push tubes , small hirise, new carb. It looked like Xmas. Needless to say he was happy next time at the pumps. One other thing in the trunk on both sides above wheelwells we're pods that were linked with a 3/8 tube. I was told it was a mercury filled pod and used for hispeed cornering for keeping the car more level thru / for cornering. Has anyone ever seen anything similar. And no it wasn't part of the hyd for convertible top.
I decoded this car. It is a true butternut yellow/ black convertible top. It came with A/C, power windows, deluxe interior and is an SS 350. The add of the big block is ok. Seeing gauges it may be a true gauge car. That’s the nice part of the 67.
My car is not perfect and not original but it's a really nice car. And unless prices have have settled down, then it's Priced well. We all know that it's a very nice looking car. Of course in my book the one thing that could use is a bird! I'm on those nuts it's always preferred firebird of the Camaro.
That 4 speed has a lock out so you can not get it in two the reverse or 2 gear until you get it to a slower speed and you have to be stoped to get it into reverse
EXCELLENT vehicles.. I'm 66.. I stopped listening to.. radio and regular TV years ago.. and don't really listen to .. classic hits.. oldies.. anymore. I'm tired of gas smell. I'd love to own an old classic.. one more time.
Not gonna lie I always loved the 69s better but lately I think I'm loving the 67 a lil more first year for the maro and like I have said before I love those vent windows 🤌🏼
I would check what tranny is in there...most were M20's. If your lucky and it's a M22, bingo....100k car all day long...even with a buggered window switch. Headrests are fun to see...Just 210 camaros in 67 got these...according to J.Macneeeesh.
Possibly a 2 +2 trans . First and second low ratio out of hole ,third and fourth hi geared for top speed. I'm assuming. I had always heard of 2+2 rock crusher trans 👍
Decent car, with only a few things to attend to. Original SS 350 car, with a 12 bolt rear end. Door panels from a 69. Has RS option, and needs wheel well fender trim. Overall good car, and a fair price.
Come on Nick. Put your foot into these old beasts. That is what they were built for. I watch these vids almost every morning with my coffee and the last two were pretty much yawners. Don't leave us guessing!
The problem with it is Nick the reason it won't go back into second going down the road and 67 if it's the original transmission they weren't synchronized

@@CAROLDDISCOVER-2025not many camaros are numbers matching. They were used back in the day hard.
They didn't make a 350 in 1967 did they?
@@HeadwoundMusic yes! L48

It’s a beautiful sight any way you paint it. 😊
First year of the camaro that was the best at that time to get big motor SS RS setup fantastic. Very fast. Let’s go for a ride and get on it.
If the rpm's are high, you will never be able to downshift from 4th to 2nd, I have the same setup in my 67 Camaro SS
Those 3.08 gears should make it highway friendly
It's a muncie, needs hurst. Beautiful car. I remember when these came out.
A loaded big block 4-speed 1st gen SS Camaro 'vert without a silly add-on cowl induction hood, I love it. Oh man, where's my checkbook.
Beautiful car. Butternut yellow is my favorite color. Rally wheels, SS 396 manual.... great car.
Now that's a Summer Cruiser!! 😍 👍 🙂
Wating to see the 87 t top cutlass video 😮
It's easy to say that Nick has an awesome Career!

Omg the horns... I never had a horn not work on any of my cars.
Those 67s had a tricky 4 speed. Can only go into 2nd under 15-20mph...normal for that time frame.

If anything it's a M20 or M21

You got a linkage problem, very common on those old 4 speeds.
One eye willy
Hey we're both 67 😅sweet ride 🍀get R done 😎✌️
Love the first gen, and this one is a well optioned one. Thanks Nick.
Central California watching.

Thanks for watching!
Hey Nick!
There used to be a guy that would ride on the trunk of this car at 2am on Sunday mornings down Dickerson rd in the mid 80s.
The car was a 67 camaro rs convertible with folding headlight covers.
Same nauseating yellow...lol
Big Block Cammy at Maple Motors!
Sweeeet nick ! Wish I could buy her ! 👍🏻✌
Have you ever broken down on a test drive?
Yes weekly
That stinks!!
Does the headlight louvers work ?
Just before the camera drive over the driver's side was open. Nick closed it on the walk around.
Have you ever been pulled over by the law during a test drive ?
Yep
Yesssss sirrrrr❤ i love Chevrolet 🇺🇸🇧🇷
Wow! 😎👍
Very nice
Thanks
linkage is an easy fix and in this car worth the fix. gorgeousness! licensee plate....Too Sexy LoL
I can't make it out, but every time he pushed that clutch in something's rattling. I don't know if it's exhaust. or transmission.
Awesome ride ! 13:29 Sounds like a bad throwout bearing ? Still an great car.
Perfect beautiful amazing looking car thanks Nick have a very nice day mate
Thanks 👍
Sharp 67 it likes to wink a lot lol. Doesn't need much to be 100%

Classic.
