It will NEVER cease to amaze me Emma. Not only by the amount of research you do, and the work involved producing these in-depth videos. And yet you still manage to produce extra content for us....while still managing to look like you should be on the front cover of Vogue.
There’s only one Emma Kenny 😊 No-one comes close. Her experience, knowledge, and the way she presents the episodes are far superior to anyone else in this area….. love the lines “is it just me…” That needs going on a t-shirt 😊
This happened literally around the corner from where i live ..This is gonna be intresting to hear you tell the story as i dont really know exactly what happened..Thanks Emma
I appreciate your compassionate focus on the true victim. It’s hard sometimes to feel the sympathy for someone who may not have done everything in life with the best intentions. Thank you for reminding me that even people who maybe are not the nicest still do not deserve to lose their lives to violence.
I don’t have split personality but I have antisocial/disassociation disorder. I can’t form friendships/relationships like a normal person. I’ve only felt love for 2 people in my life. My mother (she passed away from breast cancer) and my now ex wife. (We were together 15yrs married for 10) The rest of humanity could be removed from the living population and it wouldn’t effect me at all
Your mockery of TikTok had me rolling 😂 I can't stand it. I personally suffer from debilitating anxiety from childhood and to see some people on there describing anxiety etc obviously have no clear understanding of how absolutely devastating it can be for your life when it gets out of control. I'm talking housebound level for myself... I'm getting better now slowly, after a very toxic long term relationship, and I have left all social media - I can tell you it's such a relief! If you suffer I've urge anyone to come away from it even for a short time. :) Id love you to cover the physcological effects of social media and mental health - I would find it fascinating. Awesome case as per usual. I would definitely categorise this as a premeditated murder for sure. X
That level of anxiety is *very* tough - I hear you. You may have already read it but the Panic Away Manual, which is a downloadable PDF, really helped me some years ago when I was having severe panic whenever I had to meet clients & was self medicating with an enormous amount of Valium. It worked for me completely. I wish you well on your journey - good luck!

Greetings from Marlow, Oklahoma, USA. I have just recently found your videos and I love them. I love your passion for protecting children. But I also like your sassy side, which is a characteristic of a GenXer. Much love 🖤
She doesn't suffer from DID , coming from someone who suffers from Said disorder, we usually hurt ourselves before we hurt anyone else... I'm calling Bullshit...❤️💚💜🇨🇦
Yeah, I met one person with it and she self harmed but was very sweet and timid towards others for the most part. I'm sure SOME people with it have been violent (just like any other serious mental health disorder) but it seems like usually they all tend to physically harm themselves.
You’re absolutely right and I wish you happiness. I worked with a young woman, many years ago, who had it and she was lovely, she too lost large blocks of time and would never hurt anyone.
I've never met someone with D.I.D. but have had friends with schizophrenia. I am sad to say they both took their own lives. One was a best friend and the other was someone who lived 3 houses away until I left home. We were all the same age. I am 52 now and Mike committed suicide 12 years ago and Randy was about 8 years now. @Emma Kenny.
I do not have DID with personalities. But I do blackout and have been diagnosed with trans global amnesia. It's very scary to not be able to trust your mind and to know that your brain shuts off. The ability to form a memory for certain amount of time really weird. I last experienced it 3 years ago and my kids thought i was having a stroke. Went to the hospital and for 9 hours. I couldn't remember a thing from the time I blacked out, the police, not the ambulance, not putting the dog away. Not the invasive tests to make sure it wasn't a stroke. It wasn't a heart attack like it, but I could remember everything up to that point. And I can remember everything from the first time. And I heard my daughter say oh she's back.
How sad, that must have been a scary journey to receive the diagnosis for that, I happened to read about one day as I’d watched a upload of Chase Hughes from The Behaviour Panel talk about his diagnosis of another rare brain disease. They sound quite similar. I hope you can stay well ❤My dads diagnosis of PLS, a rare form of MND also took years, his consultant always tells him at his check ups that his positive attitude to life & refusing to give in to his illness has kept the usual timeline of deterioration at bay, she tells him that he is her longest surviving patient! I thought that was quite shocking but dad even took that as a positive sign! Keep strong & take care. Sending you love x
@DebsMcC69 Thank you I appreciate that but it's not a brain disease. It's a severe form of dissociation caused by CPSD trauma. And I agree when I heard about Chase hues. That made me cry, it's not fair, they just got married and had a baby.
THANK YOU for speaking on a summary of the reality of Dissociative Identity Disorder. As someone who grew up with a parent diagnosed with DID, it at times can be very frustrating when people disregard or disrespect the diagnosis. *To note: Yes, alters in a system CAN be abusive (from experience), but I still acknowledge as someone who specializes in Research (inclusive of psychology) that not all pwDID have abusive behaviors. Some pwDID can distinguish between alters and have an “inner-world” amongst themselves, but to constantly be aware of which fracture/alter/part is fronting is highly unlikely. This is something that would be more obvious to the people around someone with DID, including a specialized therapist. DID, BPD/ EUPD, and Schizophrenia are the top three most psychologically complex and distressing disorders to live with; They are immensely misunderstood and misrepresented and it is foul to pretend to have any of them. Never fail to impress and be appreciated in your research and coverage of cases you speak on, Emma. You’re my personal favorite crime journalist due to, yes, your diligence and dedication, but the addition of your personal experience and knowledge from working in the professional spaces that you have, and even your personal opinions. I know some may disagree with biases, but I can relate to them quite often and sincerely appreciate your acknowledgment of such.
Thank you for covering this case! I am really conflicted with this one. Studying criminology & psychology gives a totally different perspective on the 'why' questions here. P.s as much as I love the extra episodes, I hope you never feel like you NEED to create content if you aren't feeling up to it. Can't imagine the effects of looking into cases like these on someone's mental health when it is so constant!
Hey Emma , I’ve got a case request . Could you cover the ‘baby Brianna Lopez’ case. I heard of it today and it’s such a heart breaking case! I feel like it needs more awareness . Thankyou x
Me too! It’s horrific! The suffering she endured in her short is heartbreaking. I watched about 15 videos with stories of extreme CA to children, little toddlers & innocent babies like Brianna. I had to take a break for a while & watch comedy to try & distract my mind from the awfulness of their suffering. As soon as I read your comment thoughts come back instantly. I’d never wish death on any child but the knowledge those little ones are at least pain free. So so sad…. 💔🤍❤️🩹
It’s such a devastating case. I always light a candle on her birthday each year. I just want her to be remembered and there’s nothing else that I can do. I’ve no idea how her mother who’s since been let out of prison, can live with herself. Some cases just stay with you and this was one of them.
@@sofiarose4533 that is such a beautiful way to remember her by 🫶🏻 all cases are absolutely terrible but this one has just stuck with me and I’ve not been able to get it out my head . It’s not a well known case either and it definitely deserves some awareness 😭 a beautiful little girl that so many people would have loved to of given her a life worth living. I hate that the so called mother is free ☹️
On a Friday!? Don't mind if I'd do! Thank you Emma and Dusted for taking the time to release more stuff and I love the direction we are going with unsolved and current cases. This will always be my favourite channel ❤
I’m from Northampton! And we was living down the road from this woman’s house at the time, not long after we moved was when she was arrested etc couldn’t believe it!!
I have DID, I have memory lapses where my core self is absent There’s been times my mum pulled me up on attitude/behaviours I’m not even aware of and it is so so hard to fix those things I always feel awful afterwards but I’m not a danger to others. If anything I’m only a danger to myself
I find it to be an extra evil that many killers have when they try to use various mental health issues as a defense. Of course things like psychosis and delusions can cause people to do things they wouldn't have done if they weren't suffering that, but usually, people use autism or even depression as a defence and I think it's literally making victims out of people legitimately suffering from those things. Because it does halt the progress of the acceptance and understanding of those things.
I met someone who had just got diagnosed DID when visiting a friend in a mental health hospital. She did some bizarre things without even being aware of what she had done. She was so freaked out by it, she was convinced she had an organic brain disorder but nothing showed up on any brain scans. It was so bizarre.
DID is very scary, I've seen it in a family member. She has no idea who the other is, she hasn't had any therapy as she lives in SA and she's just completely deteriorated now. But anyways, I just wanted to reaffirm what you are saying, they don't know the other alters and there's even different handwriting etc.
He sounds like the monster in this case. How far can any person be pushed. Theres a lot of mitigating reasons. I actually feel sorry for her. Having said that she should of left him . I actually belive she was mentally abused by this man.
But she had lots of support had a good career therefore income so no excuse unless it was at the time of the acknowledgment of the affairs or love child x then perhaps manslaughter but she planned every step and sat with his mum getting sympathy from her all the while that ladies son was feet from her in a shallow grave 😢no sorry no sympathy here x she could have and should have left his bed and moved on with her life and found someone who respected her but for battered wife (not pc I know) syndrome others would have heard about the abuse in most cases or seen her mood plummet over time x and that wasn’t the case x
I’m not saying that this was payback time for all the years she had suffered from abuse from her partner. However I think there is more to this case than meets the eye. Are you sure she wasn’t a psychopath. She had a split personality. One side was Fiona Beal and the other side a split personality ego she called Tulip. Furthermore her partners family was convinced that she was pure evil in the sense that his murder was planned with precision. It want the spirit of the moment, for example she went out and brought a utility knife, compost and some cable ties
He sounds like a covert narcissist. He will have tortured her emotionally, mentally and sexually for years. Although this is extreme I can see how she felt this was her only escape if he had such a hold over her
Just because this woman appeared to have a good education, a reasonably well paid job and some support around her it does not mean she could break the cycle of emotional abuse. Would like to know what in her past made her emotionally blind and a permanent victim in her own mind. What she did was horrific and her sentence was well deserved. But when Emma spoke of the rage " bubbling and festering in her it says to me that somewhere she learned to bottle stuff up.
@@markdavidson9743 in your opinion! I find these cases fascinating from a psychology stand point and very much enjoy listening to Emma dive into that aspect of it! Yes cases are tragic but it's been done, me enjoying a video has no impact on it!
Hi Em! Thanks for covering this case so quickly, I cant help wondering if she had some help in moving and burying him? Its just a thought,😮 am going to binge watch you over wkend as I missed a few cases recently, so i need my Em fix!! 😊😊😊❤❤
Emma, have you seen the treadmill abuse killer? Sad case of a horrible "father" abusing his son in the lead up to his death, all whilst his imperfect, but loving mum, was helpless despite her efforts to highlight the abuse 😢
Emma, you are an AMAZING teller of facts and when you add your own feelings about some actions, you are EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Hello from Lakeshore, Ontario, Canada
Im not sure if you didnt know this or not but Emma was doing true crime here in the UK more than ten years ago. TV Documentaries such as Britains Darkest Taboos for example (there are several but I can't remember exactly but its easy enough to look them up.) She would comment per her psychology/counselling perspective. Theyre all well worth watching although they do also feature other brilliant professionals such as David Wilson (criminologist), Kerry Danes (crriminal psychologist) and the absolutely brilliant Laura Richards who was trained at Scotland Yard and FBI.
Emma would love you to cover the case of Patricia Henry from Paisley her family still have no body which breaks my heart x the killer is in prison and will die there hopefully (given his age) but I would absolutely love for Ann to have a place to visit and talk to Patti x I know your busy and I love all you do which is why I am requesting you cover it because you will do it justice xx much love always x
@EmmaKenny please could you do uploads on Ben Needham , Andrew Gosden from South Yorkshire. And Lee Boxell from Sutton London . Thankyou for the beautiful t-shirts and jumper. Still looking awesome after lots of wears n washes ❤
My daughter has Dissociative Identity Disorder. And a few other mental health issues. She struggles so much. It annoys me when people pretend to have certain mental health issues just for attention. It makes it so much harder for people to get the help they genuinely need.
Hey Emma, I wanted to let you know that I absolutely enjoy your content. I was wondering if you wanted to talk about the Miryang Gang case in South Korea and discuss about your opinions on it.
You never fail to deliver such disturbing and heartbreaking content in such a dignified, professional way lass! You’re right about our Sons are always our boys and babies. I would not be responsible for my actions if anyone ever hurt one of my 3 lads in this despicable way ✌️💜

I agree with you.
Emma on a Friday!!! Wait wait wait I'm grabbing a beer to settle down with!!
Bit of a strange thing to say when listening to such tragic stories.
@@markdavidson9743 in your opinion! I find these cases fascinating from a psychology stand point and very much enjoy listening to Emma dive into that aspect of it! Yes cases are tragic but it's been done, me enjoying a video has no impact on it!
@@markdavidson9743 were all here watching tho? If she wants a beer while watching so what?

Yaaay extra video, we really do love you Emma!
Your spoiling us Emma😊
I watched Emma’s videos before true crime…Now she’s OVER 250K subscribers! 🤩
I used to watch her on channel 5 she's come so fare😊😊😊
Im not sure if you didnt know this or not but Emma was doing true crime here in the UK more than ten years ago. TV Documentaries such as Britains Darkest Taboos for example (there are several but I can't remember exactly but its easy enough to look them up.) She would comment per her psychology/counselling perspective. Theyre all well worth watching although they do also feature other brilliant professionals such as David Wilson (criminologist), Kerry Danes (crriminal psychologist) and the absolutely brilliant Laura Richards who was trained at Scotland Yard and FBI.
Excellent, as always. Thank you
I love been one of the 1st 600 views I'm on it like a car bonnet as my grown kid's would say lol 😅😅😅😅 from Bradford in England x sending love ur way x

@EmmaKenny please could you do uploads on Ben Needham , Andrew Gosden from South Yorkshire. And Lee Boxell from Sutton London . Thankyou for the beautiful t-shirts and jumper. Still looking awesome after lots of wears n washes ❤
Thankyou so much Emma you're amazing ❤
