I agree. It takes a special type of empathy to enjoy Part 2. People have character faves so they justify every bad thing they do while acknowledging every bad thing other characters do. The entire point of the last of us is that there is no “good” or “evil.” It’s all shades of gray.
The fact that it's not possible to make a cure is somewhat true...fungi are becoming more resistant to antifungal medicines now and they are spreading more than ever before, which is especially concerning because you catch it from the environment not people so it could be everywhere
1986 is not the same scientific status as 2023. If the scientist said at the time that it is not possible to make a cure, that does not mean that it is not possible later. The same applies to 2003.
David here: I agree. Part 2 has the benefit of a better console and the mechanics are better. The store is overall more complex and really well executed. Maddie enjoys them equally, but really appreciates the split stories of Ellie and Abby in part 2. And, we both understand why Abby did what she did.
@@alexdewayne9392 Neither are review scores. Nobody needs to disclaim that their take is an opinion, it's a given. I literally never even played the second one but I just think you're annoying🎈
Part 2 has better gameplay and graphics than 1 however the story of part 2 was yikes it was boring and cliche, honestly part 2 would've been a lot more interesting if it explores a story that there turns out to be other teenagers like Ellie who are also immune but they were ordered by the fireflies to track Ellie and Joel down in attempt to take her back, so in order for them to do that they will have to blend in with the crowd and pretend to be normal citizens of the community and try to sabotage and manipulate within.
no qualms with the sequel.. don't really know what the fuss is about. Curious about all those cold blooded animals that permeate every ecosystem on the planet, but whatever. Good fun : )
For the same reason a lot of other reactors did. It was an easy mistake to make because It’s a new addition to the lore of the infected. Also, we realized within seconds that it wasn’t hair. Love the fact that it happens that way though. Nice touch.
Sarah was so sweet. 😢 The last words out of her mouth were expressing concern for someone else. “What about Uncle Tommy?” ❤ Too pure for that world
1:24 you're the first reaction (that i've seen) that pointed out the guy from The Mummy (1999), John Hannah.
I liked Part 2 as well! It makes you care for someone you initially hated so much.
lol no I hated Abby till the end Neil sure did try to make me like her

The Romans: “that’s gotta bother him”
Joel: “nope”
Lmao

TLOU Part 2 is even better than Part 1! I can't wait fo the show to get there!
Overall honesty, part 2 is a better game the part 1

Review scores disagree. Your opinion is not facts.
Sacrilege.
