But, then Tenpenny does nothing. He had to know what CJ did because Pulaski turns up dead. So why didn't Tenpenny leak the evidence he had about CJ killing the cop at any point? That would solve the CJ as a loose end problem and it probably would have saved his life. He had plenty of time to do it between Pulaski's death and being arrested. Hell he could have done it later after he's cleared of all charges and returns to active duty. There's just no reason to not leak that evidence after he's done using CJ and the attempt to kill him failed. The only explanation I can come up with is Mike Toreno clears the matter up as part of the deal with CJ. But that's never explicitly stated right? It's possible Tenpenny's credibility is shot within the department after his trial but, he could always leak the evidence anonymously or get it to come from a third party.
