When I was 15, my father ordered a 1965 289 coupe automatic Mustang. It was in my favorite colors for me, when I was going to be driving at 16. My father was still driving the Mustang, in 1972, so my third car was a Mercury Capri V6 with a 4 Speed manual. This car was ordered and was made in Germany. Not like other Capris later on.
I know this car content is probably not that popular on your channel but most of my subscriptions are car related. I'm all in for the cars! We have an SN95 in the driveway and we love it.
'95 Mustang Cobra. Last year of the 5.0. My first car and my favorite Mustang. Gotta check this place out. That 97 Saleen gave me a run for my money for sure. Those were great days. Used to run with a crew here in Atlanta called MPH (Mustang Power House). 20 guys GTs, Cobras and Saleens. Great cars. Great Content. That yellow Cobra you pointed out was a 4.6.
Foxbody Mustangs don't get much love. So Great for you giving them some. I have a 2006 Pony Package. Best car I've ever owned. Also most complimented I've ever owned! Always great videos. Thank you for what you do!
That's cool, never knew you were a car guy. I like the looks of the fox body Capris. The bubble back lite and the front looked really cool. I always liked the 69 over the 70. 71 Boss 351 would be a nice one too. My second cousin bought a 65 hardtop brand new in 65 black with black interior and 289. Still has it. Great video 👍
From one Mustang guy to another, I own an '82 GT that I bought brand new in '82. It is a one owner car, my name is the only name that has ever been on the title. My first car I drove to H.S. was a 1966 coupe, 289 three speed. I have had numerous FOX body cars and believe it or not, one of my favorite cars I owned was a 1976 Mustang II that a hotrodded with a 302 etc...
I always wanted a 67 mustang. That never happened but years later I got a 79 corvette. Candy apple red T tops with a 350 I think. Funny the cops paid me no attention. Those were the days. Thanks for the show.
When the troopers drove the mustang in Florida they sent them to Dayton to train them to drive. FHP started using the mustang last year because the hemi charger is gone.
Great video! We don't see older Mustangs so much here in The Netherlands, but my favorite Mustang is the (correct me if I am wrong) 67 Eleanor Mustang From the ‘Gone In 60 Seconds’ movie. I think it is a fastback too. I'm not sure. I don't know much of these cars. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Matt, The Netherlands.
Cool nugget of info on you Chris & yep if you know you know with fox bodies...Youre like an onion man, every layer has an interesting story, keep doing what you do 🤘
In 1985 I was 17, I had been working a full time job for 3 years & had $10,000 saved to get my favorite car of all time, ( CORVETTE ) 1974 Black T- Top with black leather interior 454 with a 4 speed $7500, BUT dad said NO WAY !!! He Instead signed for a 1985 Mustang GT 302, 5 speed , factory roller cam , hi-rise intake with headers , He had no idea until he picked it up. Boy was he HOT, I kept it until a 85 year old gentleman wanted it more than I, he traded me 6 acres of land for it plus $5000 cash
Didn´t know Mercury sold their own version of Fox Mustang, I like this body but I think only Mustang was imported to Europe, and as a car enthusiast it´s almost pleasant to find this kind of ignorance in my own knowledge. Fox body has really sky rocketed last years, maybe 15 years ago I was thinking buying one, now I regret didn´t do it.
@@LisaMartini-px7mc that's cool, I loved Chevy's, had a 55 and 57 neither one was original, the 55 was my fav had a 283 Muncie 4 speed 2 door post The 57 was a 2 door bel-air HT had a 327 and Muncie 4 speed, they were lots of fun , great memories
That seleen has the rare seats in it the Ricardo seat with mesh headrest I only seen it once at swap meet nos Ricardo seat with the mesh headrest the guy wanted big buck for them
Yeah my favorite was the 442 Olds. Im not a ford fan. Especially when you have to take the whole front of the engine apart just to change a thermostat!
I think the red car that is maid out of clay looks a little out of place because of its texture. If it was smoother, it would probably fit in with the other cars better.
Antique and classic cars and trucks are my favorites. I'm a huge history nerd.
I love the older cars especially a 1968 Chevy Nova SS. Huge chevy fan here. Thanks Chris.
GM JUNK
I never knew you were a car guy! No wonder I like your videos so much haha.
Do a video of your capri sometime!
I owned a 91 Mustang GT. That was in 02. I miss that car. You got good taste in cars. I love older muscle cars too. Thanks for the video Chris.
That clay car was wild, ive never heard of such. Great video!❤ You should check out the Richard Petty Museum in Randleman while you're in NC
I def need to see that

Nice!
When Steve Saleen was in his heyday, his aftermarket upgrades to the Foxbody Mustang were the Truth! 💯

I’d watch your capri videos.
My favourite mustang is a 79 pace car.
Had no idea you were a car guy! Thats awesome i would love to see more automotive museum content.
I owned a 65 289 fastback as one of my first cars. I still miss that thing. 🥺
I'm a mustang guy as well. I need that 68 to complete my Bullitt collection! The Mustang II kept the mustang alive and sold extremely well.

I was one of tbose who rode those mustangs at the 64 worlds fair when i was a kid so cool
Very cool, Thank you for sharing! Love the fox body!
I had 2 one was an early 60 and one was a Shelby I think or somewhere close to it, it was yellow and definitely a racer car. Those were the days. 🚘❤
So awesome! My favs were the ‘87 GT with the big fancy head rests and the ‘94 redesigned convertible! Saleen’s were sick too 👍🏻
New Edge Mustang's are timeless in design, hold up in any generation.
As a Raptor owner I can see mustangs and appreciate the love within the family

There’s a great museum in Elizabethtown Kentucky. Highly recommend. Patton museum is at Fort Knox, right up the street!

Sweet!! I had 4 mustangs, '68, '79, '81 and '88.

That Capri sounds good, Chris! I always liked those as they are kind of a hidden gem ❤
Love Fox bodies! Would love to see your Capri one day,Chris!
Your Capri is a keeper, stock config they beat the Mustangs off the showroom.
The Saleens look a bit like Ford Escort XR3i that we had in the UK, now very collectable. Curious to see if your Capri is like the ones we had here.
93 teal cobra, my fave.
Awesome video. I have a yellow 04 convertible also.

My Dad raised me on cars , Mustangs were my fav , had quite a few last one was an 84 SVO one of 4258 fully documented, still not worth $$$
I really liked mustangs too. But I was raised on Chevys

My first car was a 69 Mustang convertible. Thank u for this video Chris.😊
