Sad for Zhang to not get his first title but Cilic deserved this one. My god what a run, from qualifiers to the title. Good to see him back to form. Now the question is if he can maintain it going forward. If he can he will be back to top 50 no problem.

Cilic loves the hard courts. He has clean strokes and hits a lot of flat shots to the corners, which works well on hard courts. It's still amazing that he can perform like this at 35 years old and coming back from injuries.

@@ZoiusGM it works worse cause they are slower surfaces. Thats why no serve and voley player is good on clay. Grass was fast before but last 5 6 years they also made grass slow. Thats why hards are best courts for players with big serves and strong flat shots

Disappointed Zhang couldn’t get the last win for his first ATP tour title. But also can’t be mad that Cilic won. Marin deserved the win and was the better player today. He played fantastic tennis all tournament. Congrats Marin and hoping that this title will help with your comeback to the tour!
