Tips for Visiting Mesa Verde National Park - The Traveling Tacos

I traveled to Mesa Verde National Park in December of 2022, I ran across a few problems and discovered visiting the park in winter is not very ideal.
In this video I share an itinerary for visiting Mesa Verde (and the Four Corners region of Colorado in general), things to pack and bring into Mesa Verde, and discuss how to make a reservation to actually tour the bi pueblos like The Cliff Palace and The Balcony House.

I feel your frustration!!
I've taken several vacations in the winter months to avoid crowds in different locations only to find a lot of places closed. It's so frustrating!
I plan to be in the Mesa Verde area at the end of February. Probably the only time I'll every be there. Your video was very helpful in letting me know what to expect. Thank you.

Right?! No wonder places are crowded in the summer - it’s the only time you can visit them!! I hope you enjoy your trip. It’s still an incredible place to witness with or without a tour.
