First let me say congratulations. I don't usually watch your channel but I check in occasionally because I love your area. If I may share my understanding of Buddhism after decades of studies of the Eastern traditions I would hope to enlighten some people's outlook. Buddhism isn't a "religion". Buddhism is a "philosophy " in which to live by. You do not oray to a diety. The buddha lives 8nside of each of us. It's about compassion and love for one another. You can be Christian and still live a Buddhist life. One does not preclude the other. I was rather surprised by your statements, but not really. So many people are not educated about Buddhism. There is a wonderful book titled Living Buddha, Living Christ if you would like a deeper understanding of this topic. Good travels and I hope you find what your searching for. It may be r8ght there within you!!!!

Congratulations, I just had a feeling a buyer was coming your way. I can totally understand the calm and peace you feel in your empty home. When we moved to the homebase I have now, 20 years ago, we spent the first night sort of camped out with only our bed matrices and a folding table and chairs. Over the next few months we moved our furnishings from the home we had lived in for 13 years, to the new house and actually sold, donated and gave away a lot of items that we realized we no longer heeded. We still stored a lot of stuff in the basement and now I and my adult child have been going through it and doing a lot of letting go. There is a lot of peace that comes with a view of nature or emptiness in a home. I think that is why rooms in retreat centers are so plain. Asterity gives use more room for prayer. Sometimes decoration becomes like background noise. I'm keeping you in my prayers. Thank you again for taking us along on your journey. Safe travels.

I’ve been looking for the past 3 years and keep tripping over zoning restrictions for both the dwelling size and amount of time you’re allowed to actually living in an RV limitations. All that, plus, finding a part of the world where it is both a comfortable temperature during the summer and also not too freezing in the winter 😁

My neighbor sold her home and the new buyers live thousands of miles away. They looked at the house online and bought it without seeing it first hand. I asked them what made them decide to buy that house. They were very definite that number one was the view of the golf course and the other was they saw a cross in my yard and knew we would be like minded people. We are! Just sayin. I guess I'm confused how you can love and adore your new home, but list it for sale after 6 months. I understand you no longer want to lease, but what else didn't you like about the home and area. Buying a home is a major purchase and I could never imagine going through that process, only to stay a year and a half. Clearly, the negatives outweighed the positives for you. I realize you don't like to speak in negatives, but that would help to better understand your decision.

Its been awhile 🌺 glad it sold and back to storage and freedom , Im still out here 12+ years, thought I would be in a affordable senior rental, I got hurt and 12 year ago no longer able to do work, so life became so difficult and when I reached old enough to get survivors SS , I thought ok get on a waiting list 7 yr ago , so Im physically soooo much stronger, now..A great blessing , and maybe he has other plans for me , now ...like you we are blessed to live our lives , and cont to learn and grow stronger, Im so happy for you Linda ! :) Did you also get happy feet after being there for a year-and-a-half:) 💖

I don't think you can ever be in one spot year round. If you can camp host in Granite Falls Washington you are one brave lady! Maybe chase the good weather and own a little piece of land, "base camp" and travel. I think you have a restless heart. That's not a bad thing.

Buddha is not a God it is a way of living in alignment with compassion, love, and with nature. Same as Jesus. He was trying to teach us how to be good humans. Unfortunately everyone thinks they are Gods and they were trying to teach us love and compassion yet everyone fights over who is right and wrong. That has nothing to do with Jesus or Buddha. The both taught love and compassion and not being selfish and in our egos. You know when people get this because they are service to humanity.

I don't think you can ever be in one spot year round. If you can camp host in Granite Falls Washington you are one brave lady! Maybe chase the good weather and own a little piece of land, "base camp" and travel. I think you have a restless heart. That's not a bad thing.

Linda, Interesting update on your sale and closing transaction. I would have reservations about being in a community where you have to go through the property managers to market your home. Would you do it differently in a future transaction? If you wanted to cash it out though you did meet that objective. Congratulations. 😊

Buddha is not a God it is a way of living in alignment with compassion, love, and with nature. Same as Jesus. He was trying to teach us how to be good humans. Unfortunately everyone thinks they are Gods and they were trying to teach us love and compassion yet everyone fights over who is right and wrong. That has nothing to do with Jesus or Buddha. The both taught love and compassion and not being selfish and in our egos.
You know when people get this because they are service to humanity.
Don't mix Jesus Christ the Lord with Buddha.... Jesus is God.
Buddha is a copy of Jesus.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Light.
