I don’t know why I love this man so much BUT GOD DOES
Everyone doubted him when he got the job but he’s grown into it to the point that he might be the best active coach in the NBA. He’s very cerebral and has his finger on the pulse of his team. He’s also must see TV at the podium. Joe instills a different level of confidence in his players. Not a Celtics fan, but congrats Joe. 🙌
As a Celtic fan I’m so happy for him and the team. They really bought into his system and mindset too. This team is so much tougher and resilient than it used to be

When the Celtics lost last year at the Eastern Conference Finals, I remembered saying to myself the Celtics will comeback even stronger and might even a win championship. And I was right because what Joe Mazzulla has done is something unheard of.
In his two years of coaching the Celtics, he has achieved a lot that few coaches in the NBA have done. And he’s only what 35 years old? I can potentially see him coaching the USA basketball team in the future.

He is really deserving of this win. Somehow feel like they want more…they JUST don NOT seem satisfied.
It's been fun insisting to people, for two years, that he was a great coach, while they whined about time outs and tried to ignore the absurd leap in the quality of the Celtics' play and resilience. The players deserve an equal share of credit for actually dialing in and doing the work, but Mazzulla and his staff took a team struggled in the big moments and turned them into one that muscled through them with relative ease. I love our sicko coach.
