This man is a genius 🔥🔥 other videos had me remove the actuator and other things I didn’t need to do. Just did this job. Hardest part, going outside to start this project 😂
replaced the lock on my 2009 ordered a new oem key on ebay and was back to having a working lock in a couple days. great video!! only difference was an extra plastic clip under the door handle
The lock I put into this door was from the old door that was originally on my car. The old door got damaged from an accident so I replaced the door from a parts car and swapped my lock into the new door so I can use my key. So I only have one key for doors and ignition,
I successfully replaced my lock by using this video so thank you. But after I fixed the lock the door won't open from the inside and I'm not sure what went wrong.
Sounds like the rod that clips into the back side of your interior door handle disconnected when you went to put that door panel back on. Sometimes they will slip off if the clip breaks or if it isn’t fully clipped on. I’d check that.
@@hersonrivera6662 I think his door had been replaced and now he took the original lock cylinder from his old door and put it in the new door. Great video by the way..

Dealing with this issue now. Can't stop alarm from tripping now or switch gears until I change the key hole
Maybe just switch off the battery before operating
My driver door lock cylinder stays locked. Can I still open it up and replace it even though it's locked?
Amazing brotha thank you so much
Glad to help! Happy new year!
If this new key works to start car or you handling 2 keys now? One for door and one to start?

Is the 2013 car the same? Thanks for the vid btw
I can't say it would be 100% the same but I'm sure the internal set up is very similar.
What is the link for this i cant seem to find one online
There was no link for it. It’s a used part off a junk car.
