Hi! We love your videos! There was one we found recently about how to make a gnome as a first knitting project... but I can't find it again! Can you help me to find more of your kids' craft videos?
Hi, thank you for this wanderful video, I was wondering if you have a video of the puppet show or the story you tell children before they learn how to knit. Thanks again.
Hello Diana, thanks for your question. I don't have a puppet video because I used to tell the story and then use my hands to demonstrate how to knit while speaking. Do you mean you want the whole story, which you could then adapt for puppets?
Hi you say you will make a post of the story you tell and in the start you do say you were going to do a puppet story but you got too busy. It would be lovely to hear the story you tell for the knitting. :)
Thanks for this wonderful tutorial on how to learn children to knit! Can I buy a book about this where I can find the story in its full length I really want to teach my class to knit this way! Though I have to translate the story to Danish🙈 I hope you can and will help me?
I made the story up! I should publish it as a book, that's an idea. I encourage you to make it your own, maybe take the basic idea of the story and retell your own version of it? Is it helpful to have it written so you can translate it?
ruclips.net/video/pfOG7MnrFTI/видео.html That's the link to the video that shows you how to finish it. To start cast on 10, knit 50 rows, then cast off. Thanks for watching 😊
Thank you so much for this tutorial, it's wonderful and has helped us a lot. However, the music in the background is too loud and is a distraction to your beautiful accent and your soft-spoken voice. Lovely, tutorial though. :)
I chose this series b/c my granddaughter, age 5. has been hounding me to teach her to knit. I think she’s a bit young having just turned 5 in March of 2021. I too found the music louder than the teachers voice. 1. I understood every word she spoke. But again, I’m already a mid level knitter. 2. Also, the music is a different pitch than the instructor’s voice which helped me differentiate the tones. Is it possible you need a hearing test? I’m not being sarcastic. If you’ve lost even a bit of hearing in one or both ears, it could be that either the music or the voice becomes more prominent. This would DEPEND(s)(not the pull up panties advertised on TV) on whether you hear low or high pitches best. I’m 67 yo and find myself repeatedly saying, “ please look at me when you speak so I can understand you.” I don’t read lips but my family speaks to me in what seems almost whispers. I know I need hearing aids. However, traditionally, a set of hearing aids cost somewhere in the ball park of $ 5,000. I don’t want to spend that much when the cost of materials is actually under $1.00. ONE DOLLAR! Yes the doctor and the tech’s need to have appropriate compensation. However, that’s the end of what’s reasonable. Hearing aid companies can only blame themselves. Anyone around the elderly understand the impact of hearing loss on ADL’s. I spoke to my friend last week and she said medicare pays for a hearing test but not hearing aids. And much to my surprise, Costco’s hearing aids cost around $2,500, half of what traditional hearing aids would cost. My friend found that Costco has become the go to for the elderly for hearing aids. But the hearing aid industry has had a monopoly on hearing aids. My research discovered 6 major corporations for hearing aids, all financially bound together. NO COMPETITION! PRICE INFLATION.! I’m joining Costco so I’m ready to go choose my hearing aids!
All 3 of my kids have learned to knit with your instruction! Thank you. We are now helping our little and last child. This is always our go to video!
