One of the things that disturbs me the most about this movie is the outfits of the Babyz. Who decided to put these characters that are supposed to be BABIES in low-cut strapless, skin tight leotards with knee-high skin tight boots/elbow-high skin tight gloves? That’s the kind of costume I imagine an adult woman wearing! Another thing about their outfits, why are they completely different from the box art? The characters each have their own costumes in their representative colors that fully cover their bodies and are far more age appropriate/marketable than whatever the hell they were wearing it in the movie

omg I remember laughing and quite literally cackling like a gross, evil witch with my brother at my sister when she watched this strange ass movie, we were literally on the ground and throwing legos at her for even watching this as we wanted to watch something else and we thought it looked nasty (also, and ur right, it does sound like random/quirky girl energy, but I too genuinely think of it MONTHLY, sometimes weekly, especially when I see a potato; this video, and every word you spoke, LITERALLY, resonates with me on such a deep level that I thought I was dissociating and u were a personified sector of my brain that keeps thinking of the Bratz movies of my childhood). This is a magical, nostalgic trip and so I love you for making this video, I genuinely feel like a kid again, as if nothing changed and I’m still watching this one of the many days I visited this movie.

Not only that, but later in the movie they get the same powers as their heroes, Yasmin's favorite is Johnny Speedometer, her power is super speed, Jade's favorite is Mr. Stretchtastic, she gets sticky and stretchy powers, Cloe's favorite is Explodo-Girl, her power is to scream very loudly, explode also means to yell very loud, and Sasha's favorite is Smartessa, she becomes super smart.

I remember not being able to sleep one night while in a hotel so i turned on Nickelodeon. After the episode of spongebob i was watching ended, what played next would normally be something like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. But it wasn’t, it was this Bratz movie. I loved Bratz, the dolls, the show, loved it all. I enjoyed this movie so much, love it even. All up until those lumpy faced lads showed up. They’re little faces made me want to rip my brain out to forget about it. Needless to say i didn’t sleep that night.
I forgot about this despicable film up until a tiktok. A tiktok which featured the gremlin boys. Millions of flash backs came flooding into my brain. They sound like 50 year old creepy history teachers in the public middle schools which had they’re dreams crushed after failing they’re SAT’s.
The actual girls in the film were cute and not repulsing. 10/10 for them.
Due to the dreadful design and nature of alien boy, i don’t plan on watching this film ever again as it was the cause so much of my childhood trauma (at least i’d like to say).

When I see some parent or adult whining about 'graphic content' and wringing their hands about how 'children can't distinguish between fiction and reality', I just know they're sitting kids down in front of stuff like this. And I ask myself... if they think that kids are going to view everything on a screen as a documentary about real life, what exactly are they trying to accomplish by making childrens media seem like a bad acid trip?
