But it's revealed at the end that this girl is like, I don't know, some paranormal being and they go around different houses to find her there, while running into monsters from their stories, until they themselves turn into one of the monsters in their stories and eat bugs. Bratz babyz weird me out so much because they'll be able to talk in full sentences, articulate fully etc, but then they will revert back to baby behavior like clapping their hands and having screaming fits
Like you said about the costumes, their powers are also similar to their favorites. The goopy stuff is like the stretchy guy, loud voice explodes stuff like exploding girl, and the others are more obvious
One of the things that disturbs me the most about this movie is the outfits of the Babyz. Who decided to put these characters that are supposed to be BABIES in low-cut strapless, skin tight leotards with knee-high skin tight boots/elbow-high skin tight gloves? That’s the kind of costume I imagine an adult woman wearing! Another thing about their outfits, why are they completely different from the box art? The characters each have their own costumes in their representative colors that fully cover their bodies and are far more age appropriate/marketable than whatever the hell they were wearing it in the movie

i remember watching this over and over as a kid, bratz was my lifeforce as a toddler, and i loved jade and yasmin(zmin) my whole life. Yet now, I find I relate a bit too much to Chloe. Not only in her super-power here, but also because of the fact we're both way too emotional :sadge:
Now I wasn’t allowed to consume Bratz content at all when I was a kid, but I remember seeing this movie at a friend’s house at like maybe midnight at a sleepover and this was my first major experience with the bratz franchise

I remember not being able to sleep one night while in a hotel so i turned on Nickelodeon. After the episode of spongebob i was watching ended, what played next would normally be something like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. But it wasn’t, it was this Bratz movie. I loved Bratz, the dolls, the show, loved it all. I enjoyed this movie so much, love it even. All up until those lumpy faced lads showed up. They’re little faces made me want to rip my brain out to forget about it. Needless to say i didn’t sleep that night. I forgot about this despicable film up until a tiktok. A tiktok which featured the gremlin boys. Millions of flash backs came flooding into my brain. They sound like 50 year old creepy history teachers in the public middle schools which had they’re dreams crushed after failing they’re SAT’s. The actual girls in the film were cute and not repulsing. 10/10 for them. Due to the dreadful design and nature of alien boy, i don’t plan on watching this film ever again as it was the cause so much of my childhood trauma (at least i’d like to say).
That is completely insane Nickelodeon thought it would be a good idea to put this movie on AT NIGHT. That’s insane. You are entitled to financial compensation from what you’ve been through.
Hearing the opening song for the movie woke something nostalgic in me. The aliens look so much worse than I remember. And my go- I didn't realize the controller looked like an adult toy lol.

When I see some parent or adult whining about 'graphic content' and wringing their hands about how 'children can't distinguish between fiction and reality', I just know they're sitting kids down in front of stuff like this. And I ask myself... if they think that kids are going to view everything on a screen as a documentary about real life, what exactly are they trying to accomplish by making childrens media seem like a bad acid trip?

I remember watching this at 4 years old or something close to that age, and I was *TERRIFIED* but I got over it and it was overall weird.
I completely forgot about this movie, but I vaguely remember it now because of this video. I can’t believe I watched this as a kid, it definitely is terrifying 😭

Not only that, but later in the movie they get the same powers as their heroes, Yasmin's favorite is Johnny Speedometer, her power is super speed, Jade's favorite is Mr. Stretchtastic, she gets sticky and stretchy powers, Cloe's favorite is Explodo-Girl, her power is to scream very loudly, explode also means to yell very loud, and Sasha's favorite is Smartessa, she becomes super smart.
OH MY GOD finally someone acknoledged this! I remember seeing this movie when i was small and DUDE this thing was horific!
I was SO horrified by those aliens and im still horified today.
this used to be my fav movie as a kid- and now watching it again- im like… “makes sense”
gurl im so here for your channel, im already laughing and enjoying your commentary , and now that im remembering used to have so many brat toys growing up , im glad that your video was in my recommended .
Thank you thank you thank you! You made my whole day, so happy to have you here
That evil baby TRAMATIZED ME. Nightmares for WEEKS.Oh my gosh this lives in my head.😢😢I have been looking for this!! I used to watch it all the time. Kinda traumatizing tbh😅❤ jade was my fave
i remember watching this over and over as a kid, bratz was my lifeforce as a toddler, and i loved jade and yasmin(zmin) my whole life. Yet now, I find I relate a bit too much to Chloe. Not only in her super-power here, but also because of the fact we're both way too emotional :sadge:
hHahaha honestly i can always respect a cloe stan
@@jordysyoutubechannel VJHSBSHJ i felt so called out when u kept calling her annoying too im like 'dam,,, i do that'
Now I wasn’t allowed to consume Bratz content at all when I was a kid, but I remember seeing this movie at a friend’s house at like maybe midnight at a sleepover and this was my first major experience with the bratz franchise
Now I need to watch this again now! Thank you RUclips algorithm for bringing me here 🫶🏽
I am honored you are here!!!
I thought I had rid this movie from my mind, I had not thought of this movie since my early childhood. But then today this video comes into my recommended, I see the thumbnail, and all my memories came flooding back. I'm hoping and wishing that this movie explodes.
IM SORRY HAHAHA
Oh god this is bringing back a lot of forgotten nightmares
im so sorry
I never watched this Bratz movie as a kid and had never even heard of it until now, how dare you open my mind to its existence 😫😫
SO many horrible traumatizing memory flash in my head when i saw this 💀, I remember having horrible nightmares thinking that Alien potatoes were hiding in my closet,8 year old me had that in ingrained in my memory😭
NOT THE CLOSET, that is TERRIFYING HAHAHA
HEARING THAT INTRO SONG AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS WAS INSANE! I used to watch this movie all the time and I’m glad I’m not the only one who found it unsettling 😭
And my go- I didn't realize the controller looked like an adult toy lol.
that movie was really horrifying fr. that potato baby haunted me for years istfg
It's crazy the movie got approved tbh
I didn’t see this until year 10 or 11 at a friend’s house. We replayed the scene of the grandma cooking the potatoes several times because we couldn’t stop laughing 😂
Thank you. Shit was a horror film. And I watched it over and over again. Gateway to my disturbing films hobby 😔
Hahaha the bratz movie to horror film pipeline is real
@@jordysyoutubechannel let's include Barbie in there too. Watched every Bratz and Barbie movie bc they were some of the only free movies on Comcast on demand when I was a kid fr 😂 strangely addicting cuz the creators had to be on drugs
@@chasebarber10 the comcast on demand movies were my LIFE BLOOD omg, the barbie nutcracker movie literally altered my brain chemistry
@@jordysyoutubechannel ^^^^ the only doll movie that didn't scar me for lyf fr
@@jordysyoutubechannel the rapunzel one was so unhinged, it's iconic
I WATCHED ALL OF THESE MOVIES WHEN I WAS LIKE 4 AND NOW THEY GIVE ME IMMENSE NOSTALGIA😭
The fact that I've never seen this movie in my entire life but it somehow feels like I have just goes to show how oddly terrifying y2k cgi kids media was.
Oh, my gosh this just unlocked so many forgotten childhood memories... Wtf...
I played the mall bratz game idk how long ago but I must-have been young as frick
They mostly they put the budget on the hair in the 3D version, and I think most of scene I see them going bald for a moment and it's funny
HAHHAHA
i was incredibly unnerved by this movie as a kid, and yet i used to watch it all the time cos i grew up with it and grew to love it lmao
This video unlocked a repressed childhood memory that I thought was a weird fever dream. Guess not lol
You just brought back absolutely horrific memories. I loved bratz but hated this
Im so sorry and ur so right haha
@@jordysyoutubechannel lmao it’s a great video though!!!! I just LITERALLY forgot this existed until this video😂😂
Eyo, nice video :) I watched this movie too as a child and was equally horrified by the potato aliens. You actually made me re-remember it after years haha, I can see why I forgot lol
I'm so sorry I made you remember
at 11:29 the way she just snaps her neck full force making the hair wave and clip is just absolutely sending me
I already know this RUclips channel is gonna blow up and become famous REMEMBER MEEE
this is a comment of the HIGHEST HONOR TYSM
When I see some parent or adult whining about 'graphic content' and wringing their hands about how 'children can't distinguish between fiction and reality', I just know they're sitting kids down in front of stuff like this. And I ask myself... if they think that kids are going to view everything on a screen as a documentary about real life, what exactly are they trying to accomplish by making childrens media seem like a bad acid trip?
I remember watching this, at the tine it was cool but now that i think look back on it, it was lowkey scary😭
I can't believe some of the stuff I watched as a child hahha
i watched this when i was younger and i adored this movie but the ones with the bratz baby in the mall was my favorite lol
